I've just stumbled on this the first time, am running a backtest of v1c to get a feel of how it trades (AU 1/1/2005 to present, H4 using slowkey's settings from page 15).

On the 23rd June 2005 it places a buy stop at 0.77746, after which the price promptly drops. It spends the rest of that year and half the next in the low 0.7s, and finally rises back up on the 11th of May 2006 ... and triggers the buy stop that was placed a year earlier. Despite the price moving well away from it & the 6 lines indicator also moving away, the trade was not cancelled. During that time no other trades were placed. As soon as the buy stop's triggered (and immediately hits its exit level), trading resumes.

I hate to guess not knowing anything about the EA and yes it could be a "feature" of Empty4 backtesting, but is it possible that this is a bug?

Hello. I downloaded the Beast, and pls help because somehow I can't make it run, just for a sec, although that sec was impressing my problem is that every time i get the same message: your chart has less than 100 bars... However I run on H1 and of course on forex charts (EURJPY/EURUSD...) I tried it on two different broker (OANDA and CommexFx) and I got the same message. It would awesome if I could use it, i could really forget the fibo drawings... Thanks for this (hopefully) great stuff and for helping. wicha

go back to post 1 and read through it, you will find what you need

In the past three weeks I manually trades Sixth indicator and had pretty good results. My 5K demo account trading with 0.05 lot is up almost 10%. What I did is entered trades once price is beyond dash line and set TP 40 pips, no stop loss. If price went against me more than 50 pips I entered same lot trade and same TP. Basically no recovery involved. I am willing to hold those loosing trade and wait for it came back to become to winning trade. Trade small and maintain margin level above 400% is key.

It certainly is, although you might consider a higher minimum margin level.

Be warned, though, that a 'leaky toilet' can leave you with trades open for a long long time - ok if the swap is positive but an absolute bugger when the swap is negative. I speak from bitter experience here.

Thanks, I've read it, run the loadhistory-1 script, but the problem remains the same. The lines pop-up for about 0.2 sec and disappear. Any suggestions?

Shelly, I still don't understand what you are after. I think a loose translation of your post is a request for a pending trade expiry feature. You will find PendingTradeExpiryHours at the top of 'Trade style choices'. The zero default means no expiry sent with the pending.

Correct me if this is a mis-translation.

My poor upside down head....the reason I posted in WBS thread was because I thought the same problem would occur in that EA as well

but clearly I have gotten myself confused between the 2 EA's

Anyone having issues with Slopey Beast locking up Empty4? Mine ran fine for a while and now I just get an hour glass on that Empty4. I've deleted the log files that built up, thinking that would help but it still locks up.
