I love the this current NNbob system, I love the backtest results that I have produced for myself. But there is one big limitation of the TMA slope indicator, it repaint. I know there were a lot of debates and talks about this issue but please bare with me.

The fact that it repaints limits our ability to review past trades properly. The only way to do it is with a simulator. This system is superb but it will be great if TMA slope doesn't repaint for this reason. Thanks for taking your time to read this.

And if you have already read it I would suggest reading it again.. There is a lot of great information in this thread, well worth the time .. Anyone that has not read this thread will gain a better insight into the TMA and a better understanding of the proper way to use it.

I don't know what you've read but it is obvious that you need to do (much) more reading...start with the TMA Thread...there are already more than one alternative TMAslope that does not repaint... look for TMAtrue or one of my indicators...

I don't know how many times this unqualified question arises... Why do we take the time to write any answers if nobody reads them...

I stopped this fruitless activity a long time ago. The questioner is usually too lazy and stupid to make use of the answer anyhow. You will not have noticed that I never respond to questions inspired by laziness and stupidity, because of the absence of such replies.

I have gone from running threads at FF where I gained a reputation for dealing with dimwits 'in Hopwood style' to running my own forum where I hardly ever flame anyone these days. The reason? I ignore the posts of the lazy and stupid unless deletion is required. Of course, it helps that I can remove anyone who becomes seriously annoying. Mostly, I ignore the useless, hopeless, helpless and daft unless they insist on coming across my radar.

When you answer a question whose origin lies in stupidity and laziness, you are attempting to be helpful. Do not expect the next dimwit on the conveyor belt of mediocrity to have read the answer to the same question that you posted two posts ago; this will not happen. Do not expect the original crackpot to do anything other than pop up somewhere else with an equally facile question.

So, save yourself some effort and ignore the beetle-brained. Your expertise is highly valued here and is much better engaged in more useful activity. Help those who have clearly done some work for themselves and deserve your help, before you get pissed off and stop helping anyone at all.

Hi Bob and others, just thought I would share a set-up based on what Bob mentioned, also with another TMA filter.

Trade in the direction of TMA slope 15min open trades when price pops over the MA and is showing strong enough on the 1M TMA. Then grab 8 points.

Could be fun while Baskets are doing their thing or keeping us out ?

I really would not refer to you as anything else but someone trying to understand the NB10.2 Trading System very well like we all are trying to do in here, your Question and Observations as regards the TMA Slope repainting are quite relevant but had you asked and made your Opinions felt on the ( NB 10.2 for Dummies Thread ) you would have gotten a more friendly and Better response from a lot of traders and Learners alike on that thread.
I mean no disrespect to you in any Shape or Form by the facts I have stated in here but if I were you I would have asked or Stated my Opinions regarding the TMA Slope Repainting Issue on the Above mentioned Thread.
My friend sometimes we all make a bit of a mistake in our quest to get to grips with a certain System and fail to take in or overlook certain important bits and pieces that make any Particular trading System work just because time is not on our Side and we really can't be bothered with reading up on the finer details of Jargon that has been carefully put together by the Authors of such Systems. We are all learning but I must admit even I ask the Right Questions in the Wrong places sometimes. I would kindly suggest you go through the N.B 10.2 thread with a fine tooth comb and you will definately pick up and learn a lot of good stuff but you have to put in the Effort and Read which of course take's a fair bit of time but I kidd you not, it's well worth your time and Effort.
I hope this simple explanation will help with your desire to Understand the System and keep you in here with us.

I released an rule based Indicator a couple of days ago for testing different TMA related setups and also pivot setups. Maybe it could help you in refining/finalizing your 10.2a.
