a strangle hedged grid (or mathemagic if you prefer)

Hey all,
Came across this concept at another forum. Don't have the skills to code it myself. I thought the NASY grid might do it but it didn't work like I expected.

It's a simple hedged grid. with the grid distance being the variable which we shall define as 'gd' (expressed in pips).

So every gd pips place a buy and sell order with the TP for both being gd*3 and the SL for both being gd*2

Make sense? I can post some other pics, but they are from another forum and am not sure if I can post TSD watermarked pics on here (If I can please let me know and I'll show you some more).

apparently it can be quite profitable, and it's only drawback is a fairly rare market condition (which results in losses, but given it's not martingale, it should just result in losses, not catastrophic account blown losses).

Hey thanks Gary, I'm running a test right now, but it's not working like I expect. I set the SL To 20 and it does not close at the SL's for some reason. I'm not sure that it's designed to do what I'm asking. Can anybody else comment on this or point me in the right direction.

Both long and short grids open positions cancel each other. So, it won't win in long-run.

Fx trading is a game
1. to chase right direction of price move in a specific period.
2. to gear up in maximum increase your positions to make maximum hitting winning.
3. to extremely quick to grasp your win to run away if momentum start weaker.

Grids trading EA suck you in both long and short positions. What can you play the game? This may be a sick trading logic. Just my view, may be wrong. Cheers!
