Using Slope direction,
I am looking at a 1 hr chart with Neo's TMA True SlopeHisto MTF set for 4 hour, with Neo's suggested 21ma applied to it, and I then placed a TVI (tic volume indicator) over the NT indie.
Also using the Daily and weekly opens in price area with notations for Tokyo/ London/ U.S. opens.. and the 5ma.
Actually the tvi closely mimics NT's indie if they are both set to same timeframe.

So far I'm liking what I am seeing, shall see what it produces ..

Template should be set to show correct relations on 1 hr / 4hr or Daily chart.. Threw in the 2 files you might not have.. Pretty easy to see when price is moving with TMA slope from higher T/F...

I think you attached the wrong TVI Indi...in the template it looks for the "TVI_2color" Indi... and not TVI.

could you update your attachment?

Yes you are correct Neo, I fixed the post , now has correct indicator.. sorry for the confusion, (on my part)...

If you are referring to the market open time indicator yes, It is in mql format so you can open it in metaeditor and change it to you needs.. I find that indi a little balky at times but it is the one I like ...
The times are adjustable from the indicator input panel as well but I find something like this is better to make it permanent in the editor as my times never change .. (Cowboy IBFX)

Sometimes that indicator (market time) will display incorrectly but if you just change the timeframe to a different time and back it will clear it up.

It has a habit of displaying on a time frame you don't need it on and then sometimes it takes it a while to display when it should... it is kinda flaky but I like that it is pretty unobtrusive...

maybe someone can whip it into shape...lol

If I apply your template I can see the TVI2 indi - if I just apply it to any other chart it appears to load, with no journal errors, but I see nothing. Probably something really dumb I'm doing but I can't see what. Any ideas?

not that I know... The template I posted is a multi time frame layered template and there are multiple instances or several indies on it so that it displays the way I want depending if the chart is a 1 hr , a 4 hr or a daily chart..

The template will probably will not look right if you do not adjust it on a say 15 minute or weekly chart.. other than that I have no idea why you are having a problem with placing the TVI 2 color on another chart...
Did you re download the TVI_2color.. here it is again, same copy that I use... except that on my template I changed two of the settings from r 12 and s 12 to r 8 & s 8.

Very odd - that version worked even though the other version worked with your template it didn't without it and I had to overwrite the "old" one with this one...... Bizarre. Anyway - thanks very much - I will have a play with it.

EDIT - seems I am still having issues with all but one Empty4 instance. No ideas tbh - recompiled the indi and tried all obvious things but no joy. Working on one Empty4 instance though so I'll test there!
