EA took first trade on usdchf, refer to pic.
No errors on expert or journal tab so far. Just hope i drew the lines right. I felt 15M was too busy to draw trendlines on, so stuck to 30M TF, i personally prefer faster TF's but nothing wrong with trying the higher ones for this test. regards, george

Hehe. Anybody here daft enough to bet against drawing the trendlines right? Here is where Eval has shed-loads of experience and the rest of us have to catch up.

Having said that, Eval did state in his FF thread something along the lines of he is looking back between 20 & 30 candles - a bit hazy about the details, sorry. As I sometimes point out, I can code or I can........... but cannot do both. Perhaps someone else can fill in the candle distance that Eval mentioned?

On first exposure to all this, it looks as though Fractals might be a half-way decent starting point for those not very good at reading charts yet. Fractals do a good job of drawing the eye to significant highs and lows, so picking a couple of likely recent ones might help those of you not yet able to spot trends by eyeballing a chart.

Sorry if not a lot of this makes sense guys. I spent the day hacking away at code and wore myself out. Then I spent the evening teaching the piano. Not entirely sure how much sense I made to the kids.

Why don't you use price point 1 and price point 2 for trade direction ? Instead of colors ? If price1>price2 = short, opposite for long.

I just found some miscoding that stopped buy trades, or should have done, so the two of you who just downloaded 1a need to get 1b.

thanks for the new toy. I ve done some manual trading in the last two days . There is a big part of discrete trendline drawing in this way of trading. I think unless we find an indicator which draws the same trendlines for all of us ( something like http://www.truetl.com/) , we are unable to learn from each other and furthermore we are unable to compare our trades with this system, because everyone of us will draw some other trend lines.
