Hi gary,

There are some differences but (other than rule 7) nothing severe:

My bad...I had some parameters changed before I took the Screen shot...

I do indeed have a Sunday candle (Cowboy IBFX). addSundaytoMonday was already False by default. I set it to True (on all 7) and nothing changed that I could see.

please check again the pivot rule maybe against the dwmPivots from Baluda... as I said above I changed some parameters before i took the Screen shot and set the pivots to only use Daily/Weekly Pivots...and thats why it looked different...it should work...please check and confirm if it is ok....

I am currenctly working with HA candles and 5MA to help confirming entries and exists. So I was just wondering whether you could had the following new rule to this excellent indi where:

- the histogram bar turns blue when the full body of the current TF HA candle (after the candle is closed) is above the MA;
- the histogram bar turns red when the full body of the current TF HA candle (after the candle is closed) is below the MA;
- the histogram bar is, lets say, yellow when any part of the current TF HA candle's body (after the candle is closed) touches the MA.

If you could make the MA type and period user-selectable thath would be awesome

This is just a suggestion that I submit to your appreciation and of course do not hesistate to dismiss if you think this has no value.

Thanks for your reply Neo I understand your pos so that I will do my best to present it with pics...just need more manual testing time. I am using the synergy bars at the mo but only have the ex4 file...will try with other HA.mq4. Basically, I am using some of the manual systems reported here on the forum (e.g. the latest Spot's system or modified SHAFT) and try to get confirmation using synergy candles. Once I get my trading signal (via whichever system I use), I only enter when a full synergy candle has closed above/below the 5 or 7MA (depending on the TF I use) and ride it until a candle color change or until I get a synergy candle with a rather "doji look" or candle body touches back MA.

Will do more homeworks on trying to replace the synergy bars with an usable mq4 file and hopefully will report back. Thanks for all your efforts.

Description:
Indicator for Testing Rules and Rulesets based on TMA and Pivots

This Indicator is meant to be used as Research/Analysis Platform to define/test Rules and Rulesets (multiple Rules) based on the TMA and Pivots.
You are able to combine different Rules into one Ruleset that will trigger buy or sell signals.
You can also use it to analyze Exit signals (opposite direction of entry signal)

This is only a subset of my main Rule/Ruleset Tester that I use to test different Strategies and Rules.

  Global TMA Settings
• tmaTrueMode - uses the TMAtrue calculation, prevents any so-called 'repainting'
• tmaPeriod - change the tmaPeriod
• atrPeriod - change the atrPeriod
  
  Rule 1 & 2 - TMA TF & Level
• TmaSlopeTf - select TF for TMA
• TmaSlopeBuyLevel - change Level for Buysignal
• TmaSlopeSellLevel - change Level for Sellsignal
  
  Rule 3 - TMA 3 TF & Angle
• TmaSlope3Tf- select TF for TMA
• TmaBarsForAngle - change how many Number of Bars back (from the current Bar) the Angle calculation should go
• TmaPointsForAngle - change how many Points the difference between the bars should be to trigger a buy/sell signal
  
  Rule 4-6 - TMA above/below MA (applied to TMA)
• TmaMA - period for the MA
• TmaMAMode1 - Mode for the MA (0=SMA, 1=EMA, 2=SMMA, 3=LWMA)
• TmaMaTF1 - select TF for TMA
  Attention : If the TMA TF is other then current Chart TF the calculation can take some time. Be patient
  
  
  Rule 7 - Pivot Order
• addSundayToMonday - true = for those people who have Sunday candle
• UseDayWeekMonth - true = Daily, Weekly and Monthly Pivots must be in order to trigger buy/sell signal
• UseDayWeek - true = Daily and Weekly Pivots must be in order to trigger buy/sell signal
• UseDayMonth - true = Daily and Monthly Pivots must be in order to trigger buy/sell signal
• UseWeekMonth - true = Weekly and Monthly Pivots must be in order to trigger buy/sell signal
• UsePriceToPivot - true = Price must be in relation (above/below Pivot) to trigger buy/sell signal
• UseOpenPrice - true = Candle Open Price is used for Price
• UseClosePrice - true = Candle Close Price is used for Price

Hi all,

I am a newbie in this forum and asking for help in installing all NT series indicators....After I place those indicators to the expert/indicators folder and relaunch the Empty4 (FxPro), those indicastors can't be found in the custom indicastors.... And I also try to open them thro' the editor, however, the screen just shows a word "ex4" and nothing more.....Is it because I use Win7....Please help and apologize for my poor English.

Neotrader posts them as ex4 files (for now, hopefully he will release source at some point). ex4 files are the compiled computer-language version of the indicators. You can't open them in an editor, or if you do, you will see gibberish.

However they should show up in your custom indicator list. Not sure what went wrong there. It could be related to Windows 7 -- did you install Empty4 under C:\Program Files ? In Vista and Win7 that's a "protected" area, and if you try to put files there, it tends to squirrel them away in another hidden location. Win7 tries to make it look like the file is actually under C:\Program Files, but it really isn't, and not all programs handle this trickery well. No surprise, Empty4 doesn't.

Strong recommendation: install Empty4 somewhere else. C:\Program Files is a bad place to stick arbitrary files.

It is located at the C:\Program Files\x86.......

It really doesn't matter. I use C:\Empty4\BrokerXYZ, just so they're grouped somewhere. You can put them under your Documents folder if you like.
