Managed to grab 200 pips out of this weeks 10.2 setups. I've been watching a whole bunch of pairs but only 3 made it into the basket. My tracking method is below - I find that by recording the TMA strength through the week, you can easily see which pair is trending stronger or failing making that decision to close a bad trade easier and quicker.... really looking forward to the end of August, not liking how slow things are.

Yes, that is an excellent way to track the pairs Will80, I was wondering the same about the times of the recorded readings?

And also wondering if you would share that with me / us ? Not a problem if you don't want, I am good with Excel.

Thanks guys - my times for the AM/PM readings are pretty crude. I wake up have some breakfast and record the TMA strength prior to the Tokyo open, then head off to work. Get home from work around 6pm and record the TMA strength with a view to launching the basket in conjunction with the London or New York open. Once the basket is launched I try to keep it active (hopefully several days) until a 1:1 risk reward ratio has been achieved, then try to let the profits run further. I'm finding during August as there is less liquidity this is taking much longer....

I'm Sydney based so AEST (which I think is GMT +10 at the moment). When I get home from the office, I'll clean the template up and put it on here if anyone wishes to use it to track their 10.2 basket trades.

That's a very nice spreadsheet and a nice way to display the data in tabular format.

But wouldn't you get a lot more information, almost as succinctly, if you just pasted in a chart of the TMA slope?

Hi Gary - I suppose its whatever works for the individual.

For me pasting charts will take longer than simply taking a number down. Plus a number gives an exact reference point, I also started using numbers when the issue of repainting was affecting the TMA (I know this has since been fixed).

With only 2 posts, you probably missed a lot; just read back about 10 posts in this thread should solve the mystery

We too have done extremely well with Silver this week, both XAG & XAU are in our radar. The old ShelleyJem-G is doing very well this week, identified same pairs as above. Since our SJ trade time is narrow windows, sometimes I manually trigger early - often with very good results -attached.
To create the type of chart by Will80 I made a little EA which saves Symbol, Slope, Pivots, CCI, RSI & ADX on a regular basis to a CSV file(inc XAU,XAG), directly readable to XLS. Seems overkill but very interesting to see direct comparison between eg. TMASlope & CCI or ADX.
