Jem's Uber Basket Trading Thread

I've made an indicator, to show daily, weekly, monthly average ranges on the chart. It draws horizontal lines that shows the available room above and below the current price. This is done by adding the average range to the period's low to show the upper line, and substracting the average range from the period's high to show the lower line (e.g. average weekly range substracted from current weeks high will show the weekly range low line).

The comments section is not too pretty I have to leave now, so I didn't finish the formatting of the table, maybe later I will fix it.

Since I'm a noob in MQL4 programming, there may be errors in the code, but it works on my computer

Hello!

I just wanted to pop by quickly and say hi and see how everyone's doing. August hey? What a boring month! Here I am disappearing to get some fresh results for you all and the markets go dead. I entered only 2 baskets last month and played them quite conservatively. I closed one for +100 pips and another for +150 pips.

We finally have some new pairs to play with and here's the result of the first basket:

Nice to finally see some fresh greenery on Baluda's iExposure indicator. I'm hoping the trends continue so I can get some new results on the live account. It looks like my plans have been pushed off for another month due to an August market that did not want to trend. No complaints though – there's nothing like a system that tells you when NOT to trade.

I will keep you updated via the email list, if you didn't receive my last email make sure you sign up again using the link in my signature. I'll be back in a month with a vengeance, see you then!

In the meantime green pips to all!

Dummy question: is it ok to add pairs to the basket if i see other setups later on?

Any input on my basket is absolutely welcomed.

Yipeeeeeeeee :!: Zool, I am going to play with this Indi and see if it does the trick, I had been Stressing Jasonckb for something like this only 2 days ago, so it looks like you have beat him to it with this Development.

Coming back in a month's kind of Sounds like Ethernity to me in Active Trader's world but I'll wait, this has to be worth the Wait so we will wait.

Hi Pino,
I guess you can Add more pairs to the Basket but Supposedly Strictly only if they Meet the Criteria, I am assuming you are trading these Currency pairs on a Demo account for Starters, so feel free to play around with the System, with time you will figure out what works well and what also doesn't work with your appetite for Risk. When you are confident and Sure enough with what you have learnt about the System over a Period of time then you can Venture slowly and Cautiously with a Live Account
