These are my results so far with screen shot showing 'D1 trend' trades, also the pairs i'm running and settings, ootb. first trades i also never saw the risk setting was at '2', changed it now to '0'.
risk=0, and lot size 0.06 as per orig.

i'm attaching the indi,
it repaints and should'nt be trusted on its own. i'm very used to it from over a year ago when i was messing with symphonie. Comer had contributed this file and i dont have the mq4 for it.
i got tooooo used to the indi and its either too hard to let go, or i feel comfortable when i see it on the chart.
i am learning to manually read 10.2 and use this is a reference until i get used to 10.2.

i wished i was as 'attached' to 10.2 as i am to this indi, thats the only reason i still keep up with it.

thank you for the basket demo, its great to see different approaches for Alex's EA.here are two demos i'm running to see if there is a difference in running the charts on 1hr and on daily. They are on same criminal, ava, OOTB, and identical pairs. criminal type is ECN=true.

Hi Cuzgeorge, I'd like just to notify you an error in your EA setups. You put ECN= True with AVAFX account, and this criminal is not ECN but market maker. So ECN should be = False

i dont know if i should laugh or cry.?
this rates as THE most embarrassing forex moment for me! thanks for the post effluvium.

Got myfxbook link up in my signature added all pairs that aren't ranging so far and restarted my Empty4 this morning to make sure the problem of not sending orders through wasn't an issue. Only three open orders so far and they are still open.

I might open another demo for this and manually close trades etc, just to see how good it does by itself, since a lot of trades its opening I am kind of not in favor of.

It should always be "OK" to use ECN=true setting. It makes the EA submit trades in two orders, one to enter the trade and one to set the SL/TP. Hmmm, feels like I've typed this before.

Is it possible to disable the management of the open trades in order to use MPTM ??

One question I have about exiting the trades . On ootb settings, sl is set to 200. What happens if for example we get on a long position, a few days later we're still in the position, sl and tp not hit, but market conditions have changed, and now the ea should be looking for sells. What does the ea do? Stay in the trade until it hits tp or sl, and the looks for sells, or does it gets out of the long and looks for the sell?

Also how would the ea behave in this situation with sl set to zero?

Thanks. I know it repaints but will be using it with other things on higher TF so lesser painting issue.

hopfi2k has a bug fix for his Correlation filter and a feature that allows you to see the calculated correlation of pairs on your chart. I was agnostic about this feature untill I saw it displayed. Basically, by calculating the past movements of a particular pair, we can tell if they are moving together. Then some majic pixie dust will rate it 0 to 100 which means if you are trading correlated pairs they could suddenly all turn againist you or for you. It's your call. It is all about managing risk.

With version 1.3 you will be able to see the calculated correlation on your chart and see if it matches what your eye balls say looking at the two pairs on chat. It also makes the idea of correlation clearer. At least to me.

Al's problem with divergence will be sorted out also. At least partially.

In other news, took a beating today from all those major news stories but I am glad I am getting some experience with nanningbob recovery and what to put in the EA for that.
