Balls to the Wall, a 1 minute 1 trade EA

Balss, just closed a eurusd as the euro peaked, perfect timing for a huge Tp win. I have two losses from before at SL. no interference from me and OOTB settings except i'm ECN.

HiArt , Vivaldi, great spot on the ecn part of the code. It did the job for me.

I have'nt tried the Slope yet on this, petrified of the lot sizes (even on demo), waiting to see winsteadglenn and wolfemans results here.

I have set up a second demo with Steves opening times and pairs, will post both the myfxbook links shortly.

Well, my setup is acting like a politician--sitting there looking buzy, but nothing gets done! No trades, no errors, nuthin....I have another EA on the same plat that is working, so it's nothing like that.

The slope values are reporting correctly, it just won't do anything. I did notice that the stoch readings in the chart comments don't match the data window. The data window reports slightly lower readings; I don't know that it's enough to make a difference though. Frustrating this is...IF it were trading as it should, I would have had four wins in the last two days. A 60% increase in two days would feel good right about now. I think tonight I will set it up with the line just to make sure I'm not overlooking anything.

George, would you mind posting you set file for comparison?

It occurred to me that slopey fractal might do what I want. I had a series of 13 great winners there and no losing trades, using Harry's settings with J.S. of only eight. Big lot sizes and higher TFs there might produce gains similar to the goal here. Just thinking outloud.

I too, noticed the similarities with slopey fractal. But if I remember correctly (I don't have SloFrac up ATM) it enters somewhat later. I don't ever recall seeing an entry as precise as paulus stoch & macd setup...anywhere! Critical for this method. I am convinced that slope will be the key element to this EA. Look at this mornings entry...the preceeding hours were down, down.- waiting for slope looks fooking brilliant! With a 6 pip stop. Dang, I just hate missing those!

P.S. When I say morning, I mean morning for me. I 'm in California.

Very strange problem. I propose, you run the EA on a real live account. Only , do it in such a way that the Lotsize will be as small as possible in order not to hurt your equity. Interfere with the lotsize calculating routine if you can. There is probably something really wrong with your demo account, but I can't see what it is. I am experiencing also from time to time strange things with the demo account which do not happen in real life accounts.

Here is the Lotsize calculation :

Insert a line like : ( if your smallest possible lotsize is indeed 0.01 )

What i will try, is another broker and see if that problem continues or not.

On a live account, you have to contact your account manager and request that they allow ea's on your account. It should work on the demo as far as i can see.
I just got back and will try to see whats wrong. Give me a little while and i'll pm you so as not to take over the thread. We'll post just the solution, hows that?
