Has anyone had the built in trade management stuff work within the bot? on my 15 min chart I have a JS set at 30 pips with adding profit of 15 pips. it has had two opportunities to kick in but nothing has happened. of course I can always use a separate instance of MPTM.

anyone having probs with the AA filter ?
I have latest version of Bot and AAv2.1 loaded up

i had a short open when price was below AA BUT AA was still green

also, since switching on the AA filter an opposite signal has not closed an open trade

my chart is showing the correct AA value in the comments but there is nothing in AA direction:

i am using MA period = 50 as for Spider

any suggestions Guys ?

Hey guys,

first I would like to thank steve, jiva and everyone else who helped to develop the strategy/EA. It's just great!

I'm still using this bot as a scalper on M1 with a TP of 5 pips. It works really well but everyday there are some "bad" minutes ie. the market is in a "bad" condition for scalping. You can find the todays "bad minutes" in the attached chart.

3 Trades: -34 Pips in 10minutes.

There was just one losing trade the rest of the day and then 3 hammers in 10 minutes ..

Any ideas how to avoid these bad trades?

I started this OOTB last night on demo with 6 pairs on the M5 and have had 23 orders closed for a whopping -275 pips. Does anyone think it might be helpful to share the set files as we try to find profitable combinations?

Would it be possible to add a user defined code to stop trading for the day at a specified profit level? The 1 minute scalper mode for this bot could use this IMO.

I would post this question in the rookie section. In the interim, make sure your indy's are the correct ones and the settings match the ea settings. Even better, just take all indy's off the chart - you don't need them on the chart to run the ea.

thanks very much but i didn't actually mean this as a general question, but only in relation to this particular Bot.
During this testing period i would prefer to keep indis on the chart if possible as when i sit for hours and hours and hours watching the behaviour of the Bot it helps with making decisions about tweaking the settings if i can see what the indis are doing as well, ofcourse if it turns out that the indis do interfere with the AA filter then i will have to decide which is more important to me but if i post some settings here in the forum that i find to be profitable then i would like to be able to back them up with some reliable observations on why

my account is up 10% so far......nice
