Baluda EA is finally running well for me with no errors showing up with old luc.
The problem with Mod2 i have is----
I frequently encounter PEBKAC problems.
Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair.
It is critical to understand what Steve continuously naggggggs in his post 1's about understanding slope.
With out having a plan or an idea what you want to test, then it's like searching for the pin in a haystack. I am attaching my set file for your review and to answer your question about my settings for mod1.
I have included the EA itself as there were a few changes i made that are'nt part of the externs.
use
http://www.text-compare.com/ to load a copy of the original v1e and then my mod1 next to it. Hit compare and you'll see the changes i made. Look at the top where i noted the changes.
I have done something similar with mod2 but going to work on it now as it has not performed as well using symbol. you can see this if you follow the link to myfxbook thingy and scroll over to the 'comments' section of the open or closed positions.
My comment will include which ea was used, settings and you'll be able to see if the closed position was due to SL and if there is no reference to SL, i'm assuming the trend changed and the EA closed the position.
Paul Please correct me if my assumption is wrong here.
The set file is hardcoded into the ea and performed very well with the MBTM combo. This set will not work properly on its own. use your own adaptation of MPTM , maybe try the percentage options. I know Steve likes using that. I've attached my MBTM for reference, but please use your own settings. It's pointless testing the same. I am using the $ options of $200 SL and $200 TP. This is relative to the lot size i'm using and i will be looking to increase the TP if all go's well, and possibly remove it altogether if the JS keeps working as it has.
remember, there are 4 charts open. Two with Baluda mod1 and mod2 respectively, and two charts with two hardcoded sets for MPTM running in basket mode (MBTM) using magic numbers to differentiate between which ea did what.
After a slow/bad start on standard v1e, Baluda mod1 did exteremely well on friday with the mods in place, and watching basket JS alerts popping up one after the other was a great feeling.
I hope you can make improvements to this, but i'm happy to make a few adjustments to mod2 and see how mod2 performs in the next week or two. I will post ea and set if they are successfull again.
