Do you know if the trade was in profit at the time, and TIB trying to modify the stop loss?

yes it was in profit.
I moved all the settings to match 1H TF to make it trade more often and see how it actually works. Probably it was the moment when candletrailingstop was trying to hit...

What if you change the code in the various Stop Loss Adjustment Routines (SLARs ) so that before you set modify to true, you actually do a test to make sure it will more the SL by a point or more. Like this for buys:

if (NewStop-OrderStopLoss()>=Point)
   modify = true;   

and sells:

Code: Select all

if (OrderStopLoss()-NewStop>=Point || OrderStopLoss() == 0)
   modify = true;   

It looks like it should work for all the routines and should eliminate some of the messages. I think it will also allow for combining stop methods that might otherwise conflict, since they would only move SLs closer.

That was funny, wan't it? My wife and I sat waiting for the clock to tick over to 2000 and for the electricity to go off, the bank steal all our money (again) and planes to fall out of the sky all over the place.

The lack of event was almost disappointing.
