Hi all, me again,
Here's another demo on fractals ive been running for a while.

I've got to the stage where i brought in MPTM for trade management, BE 25/15, and JS 40 with addBE=true.
i'm also set to hedge here from 40 pips loss at incriments of 40 again. Sl at 40 and NO TP. I'm letting JS kick in here from MPTM and might in-corporate that to the other MPTM's i use across the ea's. This is the test for No TP settings for me.

Fractals is doing great.
There are no settings in Fractals for trade management except 0.09 Lot.
15M TF for fractals,
1440 HTF at 0.8 ande 0.6 for the slope inputs.
No disappointments but again, no wild west shooting party so i've (puh-lease dont shoot me) added another ea that does quite a a lot of trading.
hope its still worth the demo though. Results can be filtered in the fx book thingy if you prefer to see just fractals. This one has live potential straight from demo to live account as is.

Hello all,
Bumped by chance with this thread and wondered if anyone kept testing the EA.

I just downloaded it but the "Invalid stops" message keeps popping up. Twice downladed, twice compiled, defined SL=0 and SL=1000, but could not solve it. My code-reading abilities tend to zero, so if anyone could help, I´ll be thankful...

check out the link by my signature, look up 'slopey fractals' and you'll see my settings and what i did about those errors you're posting about.
I have'nt mentioned anything about that error, but i'm sure Steve'll see this message and kak me out now. ( crap all over me) for not saying something before.

I have tried to find the cause of the error by myself, but i'm no coder yet, so if you're looking for a solution, follow the link.In the meantime, Steve might have the time to look at it , he'll let us know.

I´ve found your settings, yet could not find how did you solved the Invalid stop error. I´ve followed your link, but could not find the answer.

I´ll take a look at the code later today to see if I can find the bug (don´t put your money on it though).

i am using MPTM to by pass the EA's trademanagement code, and if you like, i can post the MPTM set file, and the set file for the EA's. Your help would be greatly appreciated and if we solve this, then we can take it to the next level.
Click on the 'general' tab on the top left of fxpage thingy.
then hover your mouse over the .. check the pic attached, you should see all the changes from beginning to where and what i did , sometimes i put a date in front of the sentence.

Also helpfull is when you look at the history of the ea's closed psoitions, or still open, you'll see a blimp on the right of the position, this is the comment section. Hover the mouse over that and there should be a brief description of settings, something that would indicate the settings. If not, it might be a manual position or a Beast position. Beast EA's dont have comments. But this doesnt apply here to Fractals, just for info.

I'll get to a brief catch-up post a little later, just bogged down right now with work and posting.

Hi all,
heres the set files i promised earlier.
ther set file for MPTM, I havent played much with that, it's more trying to get Fractals to trade that i've been playing with.
Okay, the first EA set file is for the most active on the demo screen, i'm at 15M and both for the fractals and the slope.
Thisone trades. Using V1 of SF EA.

Then the other, is what i've had on eurusd for some time. If you check the results theres nothign for eurusd, so i'm including the set file for you to see what does'nt work. 1440 Tf and so on.

All the charts are on 1hr charts and i re-boot every day at some quite moment when i have time. Memory leaks are invisible and can bottle-neck the PC's up the pole. You wont even know it.

enjoy and let us know how it all works out. remember to notice that MPTM is doing trade management here. i changed JS to 25 as it was at 45 and clearly it has not had a good effect on SF. Check set files from the EA and you'll get the idea.

Couldn´t find the bug on the code, but at least managed to get it working with MPTM managing the stops and tp´s. I´ll let it run on Fractals 60M for a couple of weeks and will report the results.

Hi All,
nice surprise here. Made some small changes and running all charts on 1hr except for chart with MPTM. This must be on 1M chart. I am not running the metals here as the settings clash with MPTM and there are too many error alerts because of this.

Attached are open and closed position pics, please note from around the 20 nov when changes were made, and charts used.

Attached are also the set files for MPTM and for SF. no magic is used but you can add your own if you like.

Very similar to SS with Trade management not working well with-in the EA so using MPTM with the BE and JS doing their thing. Trades seem to lose initially and then turn to profit, maybe a little better than SS, but too early to tell.
MPTM's settings are set to hedge at 50pips loss and then in inrements of 30 pips there-after if the original position continues to lose. There are no SL or TP's set and the idea is to wait the movement out into profit. The hedge will also be 200% larger than the original position.

Why i like this is because if you follow the losers in the closed pic, you will also see a related hedge position that has either made up some of the loss or taken the added amounts into profit.
Seems to be working out okay with current settings so hope you have the same results as i have so far.
