I feel it is better to use breakout of the range before London Open than use whatever indicator on M1

Steve checked the slope code and reports that it works on the 15 min. TF.
My next experiment is to try Balls on that TF using MPTM for instant TS, JS, BE, all very tight.

Glenn, please allow Balls to breathe. If you notice my accounts got hammered this week. My BE of 20/10 is too close, and i also got caught out with my 30 JS this afternoon with the 'nice and active' market. if the market just trends. Hardly ever though. Then current settings would reproduce those results i got two weeks ago.
I'm going to study the results over the week end and post back what settings i'm going to change to.
I'm also going to try and reproduce jth's method and also a new way of trading Balls over 4 times during a day, all on EURUSD.
will elaborate when i set them up.

I like slope and hope it works out as i do see iamthat's concern about 1M TF.
From what i can gather, it seems like the occasional loss is accepted by Paulus's system. I t would be nice NOT to take that trade at all, and i agree that Slope would be the best way forward to avoid those losses.

I have'nt made any use of slope, will wait to see how you do with it before having a go at slope myself here.

As for changes for the new week. I have not had enough time to try reproduce jth's system, and i hold his results/method as very promising too.
I am also running a tad short of demo accounts,


Okay, what i have done;
[*] on a very populated demo account with several other ea's running I opened 4 EURUSD 1M charts.
[*] loaded Balls v1h OOTB with HardCoded changes as follows;
[*]magic number 1,2,3 and 4 respectively with matching comments
[*]BE 20/10 and JS 30, addBEP=false - sticking to original even though i wanted to change this.
[*]The trading time i used 8,12,16 and 20 respectively based on my local time and when i have seen heavy impacting news released. The times are about 1 or two hours after the fact to let the markets find a trend.
EDIT- forgot to mention that MPTM is on a chart here strictly for hedging at a loss of 20 pips, and 200% of position. I will hedge at 25 pip increments, looking for a TP of 25 and a SL of 20. NO hedgethehedge allowed.
I dont have this account on fxbook but will obviously report back and make one available if these settings work.

I am also going to look to intervene and make notes as to why and when.


On my original account, i have set all four pairs and charts to trade at 9 my local time, an hour after my original setting of 8. This is the account that did so well a while back.
All settings OOTB except BE 20/10 and JS 35.
I will be looking to close positions manually from now on also.


I will make similar adjustments to the second demo and also look to close positions mauanlly on this one too.
This account has shown good results this last week and has clawed back nicely,until i started to play around with settings to test. You can see what i tried by checking with the comments blimpey in fxbookpage.




I am also installing Balls onto most of my demos to see if i can pick a winner to make up for DD from other EA's. I.E, to quickly set up a chosen pair's chart, get a position, watch and manually exit unless the trend continues positively.

Lets see what the week has in store for us.

Hi guys,
The EA started 8 trades yesterday which i decided to close just before open of london today at a profit of arround $1000.00. Thereasoning behind that is i am goig to try and close all trades before london open so i can start a fresh session.
an other 8 trades opened by the EA this morning and they had just reached the basket TP of 10% for a basket profit of $1774.45

The account has almost doubled now and so far so good. we shall see what tomorrow brings.

what i am doing is if the basket closes before the NY open i will setup the system at NY open and take trades for a basket TP
The other thing is i will post my detailed report once i have double the account.

Using more than one pair, managing trades of the same trading period as a basket and reopening before London, NY and Tokyo call for
1. smaller risk percent
2. turning off the ea till next market open
3. deleting all SL and TP (is there a script?)
4. using different Magic Numbers for LO, NYO, TO
3. managing trades with 3 different installations of ShelleyNow

Short, can this or some of this be implemented? Would be great.

Hi Guys,
I started the EA's at London open yesterday they went against me by about 8% and then a couple of hours later it went into profit by 9% then it went against me by 13% this was late afternoon.

I felt a bit sick in the afternoon was advised to go to the hospital which i did 6 hours later they coundn't find anything so i was told to go home.

Got back home around 03;30 am. I checked the trades at that time and the basket hit the TP 20 minutes earlier. Wow that perked me up a bit.

As promised when i doubled my account i would post it see attachment below.

Started the EA again this morning, the time right now is 08;40 and at this point only 1 trade has started. We shall see what the day brings.
