Do you know if anybody ever tried trading the difference between the SlopeValue and the SlopeStrength?

Using your NT TMA-CSS-SP indicator you can see clearly the misbalance between the two. In time this misbalance should always return to the neutral situation. I could imagine that this is an opportunity to make some sort of hedging strategy.

This indicator rocks!!!! backtesting become lot easier now... thanks NT.
Small request, I also like to use this indicator for forward/live trading. Can you modify it to have "alert" options when it changes colors (red to gold, gold to blue, and the other way around). It will be enormous help trading H1 with this.

I got a question for anyone who has tested NT_RT_TMA for forward test. As the purpose of this indi is to test out strategy, it didn't ever repaint,right? So if I use TMA240/TMA1440 rule and put it on H1 chart the indi won't repaint every 4 hours or when daily candle close? Totally noob question but I just want to make sure I use it correctly.

update: Turns out it repaints regarding the H4 close candle. I watch it closely when I enter my trade today. I put the TMA rule 240 at my H1 chart (TMA <-0.3 or >0.3), 1 hour before h4 candle close the 3 bar shows red and then when the value of H4 changed above -0.3... the 3 bar also turns back to gold. So it does repaint every 4 hours following h4 close candle value. Just giving information that there will be "early" signal when used for backtesting unless you use it on the same TF. 240 for h4, 60 for h1 etc.

This is not repainting...if you look at the H4 TMA at the same time you will see the same values as on the MTF Indicator...but since you are looking at the current H1 candle the current H4 candle is still not closed...therefore it changes the value...only when the H4 is closed you will have the final TMA Value on the H1 and the H4 candle/slope...remember that 4 H1 candles are building 1 H4 candle. Thats why the H4 slope on the MTF is always 4 H1 bars long. Same is also true for the D1.

yes NT I totally get it. When the d1 candle close then all 24 candles on H1 change colors regarding D1 value. That;s why backtesting is only accurate if I use the same TF TMA. For now just put 240 rule on H4 and 60 rule on H1 will do the trick for backtest. Thanks for the explanation

Thanks to slowkey who's remarks made me have a second look at at this brilliant indicator!!
You really don't need anything else ..
Just follow the movement on a 30min chart and you trade like a pro in two days time.
Still cant believe the performance nice and steady 8% a week with risk controlled to 3%
