Dear Steve and Shelley,

Am demo running Gday on Oanda, IbfxAu, Cowboy Go Markets and IamFx(myfxbook contest) and have encountered a problem with JumpingStop and 1/3 part closure with Oanda.

Both JS and part closure wouldn't work with Oanda, while with other three it works perfectly.

So I decided to run MPTM alongside but it's JS doesn't seem to have the 1/3 part close option, while it does have a fixed lot part close option.

Either get it to work on Oanda, or have the 1/3 part close option with MPTM, would make me very happy since my main playground is Oanda.

Can you please help?

Oanda Empty4 is not EA-friendly. They overwrite the TradeComment and MagicNumber fields, so if the EA relies on these to manage trades it won't work properly.

Is that so ... didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up. Currently my setting of Gday is magic=0, but then really want Steve to add the JS+part close (ratio) option to MPTM.

I like how this EA trades. But I left a ucad and audjpy trade running from last week. When the session opened tonight the ea closed both of those trades. Is this a part of the Strict Shelley approach? I'm using Shelley's set fie btw.

I did read the shell user guide and this thread. Couldn't find a setting that might result in this behavior.

I think it's the trade closure logic hard coded, viz.

"What needs to be remembered though is that if a trade does not make break even the exit strategy is as follows:

1. Trade is closed at the cross of the stoch and signal lines (confirmed at the close of the candle)
or
2. Trade does to full stop loss...this means your loss is 3 x your stop loss
eg. Stop loss is 200 pips - if trade goes to full stop loss then you are 600 pips in the hole".

This is a quote from fxozgirl's post and steve's post in reply, in page 3 of the thread.

I had closures on some of my positions this morning when my GoMarket platform started the week.
