Balls to the Wall, a 1 minute 1 trade EA

Yes, I think you are right. I will need to dial down the risk dramatically to run this EA in the US criminal. I will probably need to cut down the risk to 0.5% instead of 5%. Shame. It won't really feel like Balls to the Wall. LOL. The CTFC has neutered the balls of US traders.

This is funny. I just spent the last two hours dealing with this issue and thinking it through. I check the thread and there are posts about the exact problem i just discovered with my exact thoughts. USA folks can't run baskets of this strat with our leverage no way at all. For a basket of 8 pairs we either need far less than even 1% or fixed. I was going to test on MBTrading(USA) 1:50 and at 1% Risk per pair the EA just on one pair used almost 50% of margin available (7 pip SL) to open my 1st test trade.

Coincidentally, i PM'ed Steve to ask if he'd mod the EA to allow less than "1" Risk. I was also thinking USA folks might need "Max lot" as well to stay safe. Fixed seems the safest for me though. How bad is using fixed with this strategy?

The american market really have you guys by the Balls.
There is a posibble answer that might help the USA basket trades, that is reduce the risk percentage to about 1-2 and reduce the basket TP to say about 2-3%. that should work.
At even 2-3% profit should make a good return in a relitivly short time.
By the way i am still testing this system it has almost been a month, but it looking very good

5 pairs were triggered.
Time basket TP reached is: 09;59 local time (11;59 criminal time)
Will be waiting for NY open to setup trades again.

yes
I got similar except 2% risk and closed for basket profit of 4% at (11:36 criminal time Alpari UK)
also I got eurgbp instead of nzdusd. Other trades were similar price and time

however on AvaFx I only got 2 trades eurgbp and usdchf both in profit for now. (this crim time is 7:00 when its 8:00 in London - shouldn't make a difference but different trades!!!)

Anyway, interesting to see similar and different results on different crims.

Hi patman,
Isn't that the way things go with different brokers, but at least you had a winner today great stuff.
Maybe like we filter out pairs for better results maybe we need to filter out different brokers to see who is the best.

Thanks for posting on the differences from your criminals. I'm mostly running on ava and your results are making me seriously concerned i'm on the wrong crim. Anyways, also going to check up and see how my platforms have handled today so far.

I'm in the US, so the leverage is at 1:50, perhaps that is the reason...but I don't think that is. I will dig into the code to see if I can fix this. I think I saw someone else who had this problem earlier in the thread. but many others do not have this problem at all, so it may be criminal specific.

is this right? would the EA be opening larger lotsize than it is supposed to on MBTrading? i know MBTrading is a little different in that they have their size 10x multiplied. as an example ".1" = 1000 lotsize or microlots. 1.0 = 10,000 (minilot). i think that is how they work anyway. i'm newly testing them. last night i think i had "37.x" lotsize open for my first trade (which had 7 pip SL) on 25k demo which used nearly 50% (12k if i remember correctly) of margin.

i'm getting this error on the new Wolfie and Balls v1h.
i believe it has something to do with Balud's time software, but cant see whats wrong.
Steve, enlighten us please; the part refers to two different trading time names, please refer to pic with highlighted code.
I cant get rid of the blank alert box that keeps coming up. ive had no trades on Wolfie yet, but v1g is working fine and v1i has had a win from this morning, albeit a small BE win.

thanks for considering my problem!

1. the 1st trade i noticed that the stop loss matched the yellow line which was the low of the bias session. i measured this to be 7 pips from my entry. is the SL supposed to be different than the line? i had to go to sleep so i didnt notice where the line was exactly for the other few pairs that tried to trade last night.
2. i set it to "1" for all 8 pairs testing on MBTrading USA
3. version "I" from what the chart says, i think it was the latest as i downloaded over the weekend

Thanks for the Wolfie version from Steve, i appreciate your 'twisting' his arm gently..

i just managed to compile, successfully, Wolfie v1a with-out the time inputs.
I have attached to the charts and is HardCoded with the settings i'm using , also showing on the fxpage thingy.

I have attached to charts and Wolfie has not taken any positions yet.

I dont suggest one uses this version and wait for Steve to update with the corrected version for Baluda time inputs.

This version does not give me the alert error, but i hope to be trading with it shortkly. if anything changes, i'll post.

PS, i'm not a coder, so please understand i have just // removed the time code , thats all, no rocket-science here.
enjoy and hope it works, albeit it's trading 24hrs now i think , so lets see.
