MultiBob, a multi symbol NB10.2(a) autotrader

Hi Paul,

It seems MB1.1.9 now automatically sets SL & TP even when I have zero value in stopLossPips & takeProfitPips. Note, I have not paid particular attention to this with earlier versions. FYI, my setting is all true for NB10.2 & NB10.2a.

However, XAGUSD & XAUUSD did not have their SL & TP automatically set like all other currency symbols, screenshot attached.

I did a test -- after manually setting takeProfitPips=10, MB1.1.9 sets TP for both XAGUSD & XAUUSD but it will not touch TP of AUDNZD & EURCHF, screenshot attached.

Are both XAGUSD & XAUUSD deliberately left of this "auto setting of SL & TP"?

P.S. While I am glad MB1.1.9 did not touch AUDNZD & EURCHF though I had set takeProfitPips=10, I'm not yet 100% sure if this is an advantage or disadvantage

Paul, could you please give the EA a magic no setting so we can have different settings on the same demo to assist in the forward testing process.

I wished I could read codes. Stuff I used to do during my technology days, no longer exist

Hokay...I turned off every single bit of NB10.2 & left 10.2a all to true. Removed MB1.1.9, zero'd out TP for that NZDUSD ticket, re-attached MB1.1.9. Still the same. It really prefers to follow the PA -- downwards

I am trying to find out how I can allow a previous version of MultiBob to keep managing the existing trades while starting an updated version on the same account without conflict. If I leave the previous version running, but turn off BOTH 10.2 and 10.2A, will this accomplish this?

Sorry I don't understand - why would you want to do this? Why not just upgrade and let the new version manage the old trades?

Okay. I guess I should have asked that question first. I am still trying to understand coding and ASS-umed that the trades would be tied to the old version through magic numbers or something. This is good news! Thanks!!
