Re: 10.2a Oct. 2012 Edition
MultiBob 1.1.9 took this GBPAUD trade a while ago. However, I set TP to just slightly below H4 S/R OrangeRed Dots. PA just did not want to jump across it. If PA goes above the dots, I'd re-enter. For now, I'm sitting on profit

Hi Bob,nanningbob wrote:The Auds have retraced behind the DP so set those up but the trade that intrigues me the most is this one right now. The gbp/chf. It has a tendency to run and run once it gets started so lets jump on board. Price has touched the DP but just below is S2. Rare to break it but G/C does do it now and then so I am going to play a sell just beyond the S2 and see if gbp/chf will give me back some of the funds it used to take me on when I was CT trading in the past. So playing break of DP and Support on this one.
Sorry, I'm a bit confused.
I thought that we sell when: MP > WP and price has crossed below DP
In your post though, the WP is still above the MP.
Am I missing something?
Thanks!

Re: 10.2a Oct. 2012 Edition
Hi again,
My first trade using 10.2a Oct 2012 => USDDKK sell
Notes:
1) Yes, I know it's an exotic, but the conditions seemed right
a) Price action on Daily: downtrend -> retrace -> rejection of 5.8000 Very Big Round Number (VBRN)
b) MP > WP > DP and price crossed below DP
2) In hindsight, the only thing I can see i could change is: I should have set a SELL STOP below WS1 (instead of entering at market).
Let's see how this one goes. Profit target is WS3 and SL is above the VBRN
Cheers

GBPCHF has done it's thing? Will there be a dip to WS3?nanningbob wrote:The Auds have retraced behind the DP so set those up but the trade that intrigues me the most is this one right now. I manual traded live, took trades slightly below Daily Pivot & TP near 10.1 H4 OrangeRed Dots Support, just slightly after WS2. Will re-enter if PA dips more clearly below H4 support. Meanwhile, nice profits into my account -- thanks Bob for calling this one out

I took half profit, move my SL to +5 and will let the rest ride. See what happens.wBear wrote:GBPCHF has done it's thing? For me, I turned off Show_D1_SR and left the rest "as-is".
Thanks a lot! Also what are those other indis on your chart?

Re: 10.2a Oct. 2012 Edition
That is from NeoTraders Lab TMA CSS SP. There have been several different kinds of indicators developed that compare the strength of a move using TMA slope. Baluda has one also. The problem with them is they tend to each up a lot of RAM memory so I never include them in the templates but I do use them. Of all of them I have tried this one seems to use the least amount of memory but it still takes a lot of time to load up when I start my computer. I have a dual core 8 ram computer. This is the first one that hasnt kept crashing my Empty4 so I may continue to use it. Hanover has the most famous strength of currency program but it constantly crashes my Empty4 so I dont try to use it.gustav213 wrote:wBear wrote:For those whom have previously loaded 10.1 before, just insert the 10.1 Daily S&R Daily indicator into your chart.
