Baluda Slope Strength auto-trader

I am getting error "trade is disabled". I checked the EA tab is enabled with allow live trade. But the EA keep sending error. Anything I am doing wrong?

Do you have already open trades ?
Is your trading lot adapted to the balance/equity of the account ?

There many filters to prevent overtrading, please double check.

Hi Steve or anyone else who can lend a hand,
I am trading the v.1e of this EA in difference mode with a setting of 0.6 as opposed to an OOTB setting of 0.8.
The bot made 2 trades last week on a difference setting of 0.6
I have today received the follwing error message, preventing the placing of a GBPAUD trade:
Error 4051 - Invalid Function parameter value.

Could you possibly look into this?

I'm sorry. I'm no coder. So I would not know and I do not know where to look, what to look for or how to "correct" it.

When you start the EA, (put it on the chart), it will ask you to enter the parameters.
Maybe you changed a value to 0,4 in stead of 0.4. See the difference?

Also a good practice is to not use F7 or double click on an EA if you want to change anything, but first delete it from the chart and then reattach it.

Is it possible to turn of the internal exit signals. (HftBuyCloseLevel, HftSellCloseLevel and HftDiffCloseLevel)

Did you ever try both trading options at the same time? (Level and Diff) off course you only enter 1 pair at the time, but the the first signal would enter a trade.

Paul, would there be a problem if i'm running more than one Baluda EA with a different magic number on a single platform with the BaludaConfig.csv file.?

If so, could i rename the file to say BaludaConfig1.csv and BaludaConfig2.csv and so on in each EA.?

Also, in your experience, i f drop the ranging parameter to 0.2, and lower the slope entry level to 0.21 do you think i'm enticing luc to the party? worth a try?

Sorry, if this question has been answered earlier:

1. Is your Baluda.mq4 EA current after June 2, because I noticed a post same day from garyfritz talking about the different strength numbers between Baluda and gary's own indy ? Baluda has been releasing many updates I noticed from his Baluda Indy forum.

2. Is there a way to turn off this EA for manual trades besides just unchecking Live Trade in Empty4 options?

3. I am surprised that while there has been immense interest in looking at NB10.2A and its CTS offshoot for lower TF and range trading, there does not seem to be so much interest in combining Baldua.mq4 currency strength as well with NB102.2A trading strategy. At least there ought to be an indy that shows buy/sell signals from both NB10.2A and Baluda.mq4 here, and let the trader decide.

The problem is with your monitor Athar I'm afraid - not the indi's or EAs. If you are running a 32" TV with VGA input your resolution will be terrible. I doubt changes will be made to EAs or Indi's to cope with your specific setup, which is probably unique to you.

I don't think it is a question of VGA resolution on my 32" TV monitor.

E.g., when I changed the font from the default nonProf Lucida to the Prop Times New Roman Bold on the Baluda Slope Values Indy everything was nicely visible. (I have TrueType as my Windows 7 default.) And all along I assumed that I would not be able to use Prop fonts, from the Indy description !

Also changing the font size to 8 did the trick... a size 9+ would be too few columns, a size 7- would overlap text.

The columns question, IMHO, is about the ability to squeeze the extra space between columns, for which I'll need to edit the code and recompile. I am not a coder but at least I can do this much, if I know where to find the code Even when I look at the posted Indy displays, it looks to me that the column spaces are wide and can be squeezed ...
