Martingale with Hanover

Hi Steve and Others,

I know that you dont like a martingale system, but just putting my thoughts so if we can think it will be profitable, we can go ahead or you can delete this thread.

1. Based on direction of Hanover (H1,M15) or only H1, open a trade
2. For every x pips against the trade, we open another position in the same direction. it can be with same lot as the first trade or with increased lots.
3. Will continue like this till Hanover direction changes. Once the direction on Hanover changes, we will open a hedge trade with Quarter lots (if the total lots from first stage is 1 full lot, then 0.25 lot).
4. If this hedge trade goes in profit by x pips, we will open another quarter
5. Again if that goes into +ve, then we will open our last half lot position.
6. We will close all the trades for certain +ve pips.

Sounds good, but i would prefer a more easier way to trade with martingale. I am running the pure Hanover EA with TF 5M/1H/D1 without slope direction detection live on a alpari micro acc and have a hitrate of approx. 50 %. (TP=50 / SL=50). Now adding a martingale routine that simply doubles the next lotsize of a trade when the trade before hits my SL would do the job.

Would be great Steve, if you could add this to the Hanover EA.

Sounds good, but i would prefer a more easier way to trade with martingale. I am running the pure Hanover EA with TF 5M/1H/D1 without slope direction detection live on a alpari micro acc and have a hitrate of approx. 50 %. (TP=50 / SL=50). Now adding a martingale routine that simply doubles the next lotsize of a trade when the trade before hits my SL would do the job.

Would be great Steve, if you could add this to the Hanover EA.

Got even better hitrate, above 75%, on other versions (Spider and Jiva), but the main and biggest problem for Martingale is not hitrate, but consecutive losses, unfortunately. I'm struggling to find a solution to this one. Problem is that hitrate comes with a RR of 1:2, so...it's tricky.
