You might have to wait for one of the more experienced Empty4 guys to get here to answer that question. But the basic troubleshoot I would do is make sure you are on Empty4 and not MT5 then check to make sure you have enabled the EA in the options menu.

Quick question, will Simple Shelly do the trick or do I have to stick to using Shelly Now which is in Jem's zipped Package ...

You can provide the buy/sell pairs as inputs to ShelleyNow, and ShelleyNow will enter the trades for you. That's the way I was using it.

Or I'm pretty sure you can enter the trades yourself, before or after launching ShelleyNow, and ShelleyNow will take over management of them.

Honestly I don't remember what Simple Shelley did. I searched around but couldn't find the original thread. Is there a reason you don't want to use ShelleyNow?

I would like to use ShelleyNow, I think it's about time for me to start loving ShelleyNow oh I have found love with the ShellyNow EA, She was in one of my Folders, I Have installed HER , now PLEASE does anyone have a Manual on how to use this Baby !

Chris, let me know what setting you'd like to know more about and I'll see if I can help. FYI - I ended up closing all the baskets I had open and I've just launched a fresh basket today. I'm going to be cautious with this basket, let's see how we go.

Hurrayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Jem has finally arrived and my first Question is very simple, Does ShelleyNow have an Instruction Manual, I want to use it to Open\Launch\ Manage my Basket Trades and be Just like you when I grow up....

ShelleyNow is pretty simple, xrismak. It just opens or "adopts" trades, then manages exits on them.

* Specify your initial basket with PairsToBuy and PairsToSell. ShelleyNow will immediately (hence the "Now"!) buy/sell those pairs to open the basket. It will also "adopt" any trades that match the MagicNumber you specify. So you can open trades and then start ShelleyNow, or have ShelleyNow open your trades, or add trades after you start ShelleyNow.

* Set AdaptivePipsTakeProfit to the "pips per pair" you want for your TP. This is "adaptive" because it adapts to the # of pairs in your basket. So if you set it to 50 and you have 4 pairs in your basket, it will exit when you have a total of 4 * 50 pips profit from ALL pairs. Maybe one pair is at +150, one is at +100, one at breakeven, and one at -50 -- when they all add up to 200, the EA closes the basket. If you add or remove trades, the TP will adapt to the current # of open trades.

* The Adaptive inputs for StopLoss, BreakEven, etc are similar. You don't need to use the non-adaptive versions.

There are others but that's all you need to get started.
