Howdy Sir Hopwood + Chonghm;
Comments appreciated and the best part is: even if we are not having the Millipede it seems we may have a centipede. The Equity Millipede concept with stacking is so powerful that even at a caterpillar stage (shortest & least legs of the three ) we can still be profitable on a consistent basis.

Someone said the FB method is only 40% Accurate? Well 30% accuracy on manual trading is considered Excellent with proper equity management. Now add low geared stacking to that and we can have Expectancy of more than 1.5. That means over a year you should be at least 50% up on opening balance. Well! Most banks would be scared to have that in the open. I would only be too happy to have that with any level of repeatability.

So for now, I'll withdraw to the curtains and allow the major actors to play their part.

On another note , Sir Hopwood is really a blessing, I have yet to see his philanthropy matched on any forum. (Yes this is tongue in cheek and, has a particular reference; indeed it is more blessed to give than to receive). Good idea on the Joe's (original) display, supported in its entirety.

2 Fake FBs closed at original stop loss 22/3 00:00 and 04:00
1 failed entry closed at BE 2/3 16:00
1 reentry sl not modified again - error 130 so no stacking . odd entr price

I just ran the same test and also got about a gazillion of the same errors.

Then I remembered that George was saying we also need a test for the trade being in profit, so I added this.

So, the attached here does take a stacked trade but does not move the stop of trade 4 to BE before taking trade 5.

This one has me baffled.

Trade 4 is a second entry from a second FB so would not need the other to go to BE first ? Not sure re code but that may be the issue, then still no stacking further down the drop as there should be.

Stop should have moved to BE anyway and didn't

I've been working on it...

One issue is that there is no check to see if the calculated value for the stop is still on the correct side of the entry price. For a buy, you need to add something like this:

      if (stop > PendingPrice) stop = price - MinimumStopLoss*Point;

and similar for the sell. Of course it should really see what the current calculated stop is and make sure it is at least MinimumStopLoss away.

I also put a NormalizeDouble around the PendingPrice calculation when you are trying to stack. Not sure if it needed it, but it seemed right.

running it further, it finally fails on 21/04 at 08:00 with a zero divide error

Ok guys, I am starting to get seriously pissed off here.

The central issue is this: Joe spots an opportunity for a trade and discovers that there is one already open. He is supposed to move the stop of that trade to breakeven before sending a fresh trade.

Simple enough? You would think so.

There is code in place to make sure the stop of the existing trade is moved to BE before sending the new trade.

The code does not work - or appears not to work.

The next trade gets sent even though the current trade has not had its stop move to BE.

Anybody who posts about any bloody error apart from this one faces a visit from a hitman.

Steve, don't know if here is the problem, I have modified condition anyway to assure trade is in profit and at a certain number of pips away (BreakEvenPips), but seems to me that OrderModify it's the problem...
