Is anyone else having trouble running the Indy pack on Empty4 - I have loaded up the templates but it's zapping all the resources and takes ages to even click between H1 and H4 - Is there a bug in one of the Indy codes that is zapping all the resources?

Cheers RJo - I've had this issue before with other indicators and I guess multiplied over 16 charts the pesky thing just eats away at the CPU?

I still have a long way to go until I understand how you look at the bias, so will return to reading your post again - and again - and again!!

In the meantime, please do assist with posting info/charts about the pivot bias!

For all those sick of me blithering on about coding crap (no names mentioned ), here's the flip side of the above quote. It's all the trading conditons currently included in v1b "decoded" in plain English... well somewhat plain. Anyway, the greater bias category of each condition set is noted directly below each set. The sets appear in the order listed within the EA's mq4 file, though individual conditions within each set have been reordered for ease of readability.

thelearner and anyone else who's willing to assist, please draw these out, including all indicators mentioned and some sort of price line (I can't imagine drawing candles ). Of course, this all assumes that the conditions are correct. Happy reading.

The TmaTrueSlope indicator used in this strategy (red and lime) prints out errors in my experts tab each tick. The error involves indicator trying to place text in window that is not found. This is an .ex4 so I can't edit it. But these errors are filling up the logs in Empty4 and Empty4 > experts. This can fill up a HD FAST! Check these folders and I bet this is the MAIN problem with EA running slow. Otherwise, if coding indicator inputs as EA external inputs (lot of them, I just comment out external), this should make the EA run faster and make sure the indicator is not loaded and unloaded eack tick. Hopefully these two things will help you RJo to optimize EA for faster performance.

As far as I'm doing, I'll do what I can, but unless I can get a better grasp on the complete rules, I won't be posting an EA. Hopefully my comments can help the existing EA development.
