Folks,

Another variant of Bob's wonderful system. H4 trading with MACD crossover, etc. based on 4 elements -- Direction, Momentum, Trigger & Strength. Manual (or semi-automated at this point in time).

200+ pips from mid-morning till now. Big Mac anyone?

Big Mac is fun. But I am wondering about your basket because Eu/Au and Au/Chf did not come across as pairs to trade on the Cross Monitor v5 for me. Did you do these simply because you had a cross on the H4?

Yup, correct. I saw the arrows flash & then I set the EA there. Upon crossing, it took the positions. But really, I should have waited till the arrows turned constant.

I'm not using the arrows or the EA. I will look into it. When you say "constant" you mean waiting for the H4 print?

Here's a pic I posted at the Big Mac thread. See the green & pinkish arrows pointing at candles for all my H4 charts? They'll flash to indicate a Buy (green) or Sell (pinkish) when the MACD is about to cross. The arrows will turn constant once the cross is successful. Apply the MACD crossover - alerts mtf indi & you'll get the arrows & alert features.

I tend to favor the use of Big Mac Buy & Big Mac Sell EAs to take the positions as they can sit there on your chart until the cross over takes place. As the charts are set up for only Buy or Sell due to the D1 trend of either downtrend or uptrend, you set only 1 EA. It's for folks whom spotted something say, in the morning & have to get to work -- set it & once MACD crosses, it'll fire in a position for you & then suspends itself. Pretty nifty. As for me, I tend to remove the EA after it has done that, I wouldn't leave it sitting there.

Yeah got stopped out on my EURAUD trade, oh well it felt as a forced trade. Should have just stuck to my gut feeling to stay out for the week.

Look at the weekly EURAUD. There is soooo much room for upside. If anyone catches a long I'd look to hold it if you can have a longer TF strategy which will tell you when to close. Only problem is the damn swap!!

The way to solve the swap problem is to use low leverage. The lower the leverage, the less you are borrowing, the less you pay in interest. I am thinking of adding more funds to my account and going 10 or 20:1 on all pairs so swap becomes a total non issue.

this is a really good week for EU,and yen pairs Pivot lined up and H4 TMA >0.2. How can it be more simple than that? Once again you have my thanks NB for bringing simplicity to forex.
