CNC waits for a confirmation of UT resumption before looking for the first entry and this is what he means by not gambling around the pivot. In this case it happens when the daily pivot starts heading upwards (resumption) and then it crosses above WP (uptrend confirmed) and then the entry can be taken there after a pullback and weakening of TMA. CNC correct me if I'm wrong.

In the example above though, the DP isn't heading up where CC shows his entry.

In the example, the HPTP had occurred (weakening momo, low alert, Fast line cross) but right at MP - all that was left before entry was the confirmation of an MP bounce or cross. Price crossing above DP and SMA(20) was enough for me in this example. If the HPTP had occurred and it was not near MP, I would have placed my pending order below SMA(20). The placement above DP (a resistance in this case) was enough additional space to allow for a confirmation.

So you wouldn't take the *possible* entry before that because it price hadn't crossed the DP?

It has nothing to do with the DP starting to move up right? Because it hadn't done by then.

I DID take the probable entry ... just at a higher level for MP confirmation.

CTS trades both Retracements and Resumptions so DP direction has nothing to do with it.

I can tell you're getting annoyed with my questions, but they are well intentioned and purely in the interests of learning. I'm not the only one who is struggling to understand it.....
