Multibob NB10.2a soon after I attach the EA to close a bar he opened some trades that I think should not open.
By what I saw Multibob NB10.2a uses no slope because? I added a close opposite signal WP> DP and I think a good exit.
Anxious by CTS NB10.2a.

At the risk of being booted from this forum, I've just caught up with this thread and see reference to a CTS thread. I've searched but cannot find the CTS thread. Can someone point me in the right direction please.
Thanks, John

Formatting col.Re: MultiBob, a multi symbol NB10.2(a) autotr
Paul,
Your EA runs with no problem first time, so this is wonderful.
1. However, as discussed in your Baluda Indy forum, I have formatting issues, basically too wide column spacing so that I can display only 9 columns on size 8 font. With taking out extra space (caused by long column titles?), one can easily look at perhaps 12 columns.
The change of Horizontal Shift in code from 100 to 150, as you suggested for the Slope Strength indy, resulted in nothing.
So how can I bring columns together in MultiBob, and also move up the whole display, i.e., eliminate blank space above the column title row? The column title width can probably be adjusted by breaking up the title in 2 rows, or perhaps making alternate column titles appear in upper/lower rows, so there is no visible overlap.
2. Could you add a column (last, or as first column, right after the pairs name display) with a final Buy/Sell recommendation? E.g. Label the Column RECO, and highlight Buy (green) or Sell (red) where appropriate? This would be great for current manual traders who are waiting for a 'final' EA to come out
3. How frequently is the EA updated, in ticks or TFs? Any customizing here?
Please advise...
Regards,
Athar.

Here are some changes I have made to squeeze the grid a little. if you compare with the original, they should give you an idea of what you can try changing.atharmian wrote:Paul,

1. The HorizontalShift variable, named HorShift in MultiBob determines the column width for display. You can change the variable to change the column width. Check the init() function, HorizontalShift is updated here based on the font size. Save, compile and reload.
2. MultiBob is an EA, not an indicator. I see no need for alerts since it trades on its own.
3. MultiBob updates variables when necessary. Pivots once a day, slope once a minute, etc. There is no single update cycle.

Hi Paul
MultiBob is running well since 10-14-2012... 7% gain and now -10% DD
Just now, I receive constant same message AUDCAD IS TRADABLE : false
is it because it has 2 opened trades ?
How to get rid of this and avoid having a full hard disk
Thks
Philippe
EDIT : For now I have modified code ->
//if ( DEBUG ) Print( symbolNames[symbolIndex], " IS TRADABLE: false (", c1, ": ", c1open, ", ", c2, ": ", c2open, ")");
