Bob - right click your chart and select properties. Then click on the common tab and select 'chart on foreground'. Comes down to personal preference though ;)

hi guys, Bob,
I've been following and trading the NB10.2/a for a while.
I am wondering what fundamentals do you look at.
also, any ideas about aud/cad - I have shorts from 0.99.. to 1.015. and things are getting ugly :), probably will blow my micro account...
best,

3 times in the last 2 months audcad has been rejected before the R1 level. If this is the 4th time place your order just below the daily pivot when it comes up in about 2 hours and play the sell bounce off of a failure to reach R1. We talked about this kind of trade in 10.2 S/R failure trade. Next time play with much smaller lots so you never endanger your account. I trade .02 to .05 per thousand dollars in my account and I never have a chance to blow it that way.
thanks, Bob,
will see what happens. yes, I know I took too high risk.... your system is great, just the device behid the keyboard has some issues :)
will keep following your posts.
best,

Nice upward cross of the DP on the Usd/Cad. Perfect 10.2a setup.

I will be going to Bei Hai for the weekend and will not be doing much posting today. The Cad and Jpy made the best trades for the week. Looking back in hindsight they were the best trades but those are the pairs I dont trade as often. usd/cad is a set up but returns were small at around 20 pips. Wish i could have seen those gbp reversals but those were news story things. Most pairs were ranging again so small returns . I probably wont trade today with my trip, but if I see something before I leave I will post. Anyway going to the beach and then hit my favorite Western restaurant in China tonight. Looking forward to the Australian pork chop cooked on an open grill with garlic potatoes, applesauce, and some veggies also cooked on the grill. Tommy Lai Lai mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I am a veggie and loathe garlic, which makes me want to upchuck. :lol:

The rest sounds yummy. Have a great time.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Not sure where else to post this - food for thought - daily high / low vs DP:

I performed a pivots review of EURUSD (actually I performed this analysis for all markets I trade) for the period 10/15/2002 thru 9/28/2012 (so about 10 years) and discovered the following:

~The Low <= S3 5.56% of the time
~The Low <= S2 16.56% of the time
~The Low <= S1 42.60% of the time
~The High >= R1 44.97% of the time
~The High >= R2 18.27% of the time
~The High >= R3 7.19% of the time

What does this mean to me?
Shorting below or near S2 and Buying above or near R2 is a low-probability play.

My procedures were taken from this article (I believe Dmitry first posted the link to the article, but I can't remember):

Maybe somebody with more knowledge than me could do this for weekly HL vs WP....

Anyway, statistical support for this way of trading......

Cheers & have a great weekend

You did good. I didnt have that information but it formed the basis for my 5.0 CT trading system that I used for years. You can trade beyond S2/R2 if you know the fundamentals behind the move. For example it looks like the euro could dive again with Spain being the drive behind the drive. I am about ready to go to my no buying the Euro position again soon. We will see how it plays out. Good work though, these are the things that help you understand the market.

Are these statistics for the Daily or the Weekly pivots?
