I guess the trick will be knowing when to, or not to, open the trades. Would be nice to just set and forget at the daily open. Hope that works out.

My daily bar starts at Tokyo open so I'll try it out tonight.

Really interesting insights ... so if we look at higher than H1 TFs, i.e. H4/D1 or even above, we are back to your 10.2/A territory where the rules were recently simplified to , 'align DWM/ MWD pivots and trade with price going up/below the D pivot.'

But with scalping extended to H4+ TFs, how would a combined set of rules look like, or should we now have two separate options for such higher TFs (scalping extended and 10.2A)?

So existing EAs, e.g. Bob's Bot or Baluda's MultiBob can incorporate all the above rules, with options for higher vs lower TFs? Doesn't look too difficult.

Wow Bob,

This is scary. I did a quick count--there were only 4 pairs (out of 28) on the 1 hr charts that did not respect the direction as you described and went on to reach at least the first S/R level. About 30% of them went to 2nd S/R level. Thepairs that didn't work the Daily open and pivot tended to be virtually on top of each other
