Bob - may I suggest a small amendment? - to make the trade 'safer' , as with other scalping systems I have used, it might be better to wait for the last high/low of the 5M chart to be taken out in the direction of your trade, rather than just crossing the Red line - this should reduce whipsaws and make the win/loss ratio greater?

I have attached and example on cable this morning. See how the market came back and tested that break out level too and put in a bullish hammer candle too, pointing to higher prices!

Nice idea, but I like the simplicity of Bob's strategy.

Probably a good idea but I am such a high chart trader, I probably havent taken a trade off of the 5M chart in 5 years. I would listen to an experienced scalper over a guy like me though. Thanks.

Had a look at other yen pairs at Tokyo open (GBPJPY, AUDJPY, USDJPY, CADJPY).

All of them would have hit tp of 20 pips.

aud/usd went about +10 pips and then came back to hit my TS at -6

Which files are you trying to put in the indicator folder. Make sure the 10.3 scalp.tpl goes in the template folder.
