10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

All my trades are finished for the day. I had two winners and 3 losers. The 3 losers were made small by the trailing stop so I ended up positive in pips. +42 -24 for 18 pips. One of the losers for =6 would have been a winner if I hadnt done the TS thing but the other two would have been for -34 So 62-34= 28 or 10 more pips. Not that big of a deal at this point. We will see how it goes tomorrow. Night.

One last thing. I just put my 10.2a on my 4H chart and 10.3 on the lower frames. If ranging on 10.2a trade 10.3. If good trade on 10.2a but 10.3 does not agree. Maybe a filter for 10.2a. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I can trade both trend and range now. All in one system.

Hello, this is my first post here. My English is not good, sorry. I already often downloaded indicators, but not succeed with Scalper 10.3. Can someone describe how I get in Empty4.

Which files are you trying to put in the indicator folder. Make sure the 10.3 scalp.tpl goes in the template folder.

Here's my first foray into the 10.3. And many thanks to you Bob.

Placed these trades last night before slumberland time, which for me is late Tokyo - Pre London.

6 trades setup:

Gby/Jpy buy - closed out for +38
Gbp/Usd buy - closed out for -13
Eur/Gbp sell - closed out for +26
Nzd/Jpy buy - closed out for +28
Aud/Nzd sell - open at +22
Usd/Jpy buy - open at +11



Just like McDonalds...I'm lovin it.

Question for you Bob on retraces. How late in the day will you take a trade. Let's say we have a buy setup and price has moved north early then retraced under the daily open. Will you still take a recross back up through the DO?

Update on my trades.
Aud/Nzd sell - closed at +35
Usd/Jpy buy - closed at +26

So that's totally awesome. 6 trades with 5 winners. If I'd trailed my stop on the loser like Bob's been talking about then it would have been a smaller loss.

I've also placed two new trades to see how this goes later in the day.
We had a retracement on Eur/Usd back above the open and rejecting off the daily pivot.
I placed a sell stop at the open which has now triggered and is sitting at +8 pips.

Usd/Cad also retraced and I placed a pending but price has continued to move below the pivot and it doesn't look like it will trigger today.

So far I couldn't be happier. Hopefully we can get the trading EA figured out and do this 24/7.

First of all : Congrats to the grandpa and thanks for the system. I have also very nice results.

Example:
EurCad stopped me out on BE the first time when I went short. The second time my SL was hitted -21 pips. The third time it went well. +45 pips.
I think it is important to trade the currency when both markets are opened (in this case Europe and NY/ Canada). Good idea to have a look on that, Bob.

The Eur/Usd trade closed at +24 pips. I halved the lot size on that one because of the lateness of the trade.
So 7 trades with 6 winners for a net of +155 pips. Turned out to be a 8.37% increase on my account risking 1% per trade.

I made a bunch of trades really quickly at my 5pm PST new trading day when the lines changed. I was in a hurry to get out of work so I just set basket take-profits and stop-losses. I came to work to find this today (the red trades would have totally hit their individual take profits , I would have about a 300 pip night. Live and learn...). So far this is amazing.

Speaking to the point of using 10.3 trades during ranging vs. 10.2a during trend. Was wondering if you could go back to a month (or tell me which month) that was very profitable on 10.2a and see how this new 10.3 would have done. Might prove interesting.
