Is there a difference between Cowboy IBFX US and AU Empty4 platforms besides server settings?
AU site download is available.

Tried email, attachment guidelines not allowing. Forum also not accepting upload.

Here's the server files form the config folder from my Cowboy IBFX.

All you need to do is duplicate another criminals Empty4, rename it Cowboy IBFX Empty4, and put these files in your duplicated config folder.

@don thanks for the config, it works now and second what NB said....keep froze up when I use your indicator.

Trade: open sell AU as per 10.3 rule. The other just haven;t retraced so...I am a little low on entries.

Thanks for the post.

This frank and honest exposure (Bob & Don) of what we are TRULY experiencing as struggling traders - is refreshing - and so unlike what happens in most of the trading forums. This honesty is a sign that at least some of us can keep our egos under wraps. And this ability, as we have all read a hundred times - is a key to our upcoming success. I only wish it would happen much more quickly! OOOOps - there goes that impatience again (one of my most troublesome flaws.)

The indicator needs something to limit how far back it is reading information. Maybe limit it to the last 100 or 200 bars.

Bob and Jem and Shelly Pivot Basket Auto Trader once again closed a positive basket trade, 4th day in a row. I missed Sunday. +450 pips today.

I am convinced (after a week so take it with a grain of salt) that basket jumping stop is the way to trade 10.3

I did not seem to have the same luck as you.. 18 trades hit a high of 171 pips breifly and has be negative the rest of the day (about 7 hours negative now).

As I have been saying, this is all fantastic and quick work. I wish I could use it but will wait given my zero div problems ... the 10.2/3 with volatility integration is coming out nicely with self explanatory displays and recommendations.

Given all the build version and crash problems being reported, I am thinking of using a VPS service like http://www.pipcloud.com, $15/mo promo that allows for screen size/resolution adjustments too, and works on IE, Safari and Chrome browsers (PC, Mac, Android, Ubuntu.)

The cool thing about your indy is that all the relevant info is handily displayed, enabling the trader to decide on trades and whether anything looks amiss or out of line. Just include the ability to switch off some columns to conserve space (e.g., some may not need pivot values if the pip offsets are also displayed.) Overall, very healthy.

I am reeling from my personal stupidity today in selling eurnzd as per TMASlope suggestion, but not performing the trade AFTER the NZ employment report 4.45pm EST Nov 7;( A 75+ pip gap up. Learning by doing ... thank God I wasn't using a bot !

So, it is important not to forget major/medium news events regardless of what these indis tell you (and which cannot have a crystal ball.) There are ffcal versions floating around to extract scheduled events from the forexfactory site (many of them rendered useless after FF changed code July 18, 2012, including I believe Derk Wehlen's version.) I saw a ffcal version on this site too but don't know if that will work. FF's hanover (David Louisson) has stopped development on his Recent News which uses a mod of ffcal, and works nicely. At some point in time in your dev cycle, maybe you would like to put in a warning of pending news (of high and medium grade) so no trades are done/closed just prior.

Of course clock sync will be critical ! Some folks like to do news straddles, which is an entirely different, but profitable, concept. And made challenging with crim-induced slippage and spread widening prior to news.

I decided to post a pic of what's coming. I am going to work on it tonight some more, to make sure all calculations are correct, and then post it. This is my first attempt at putting 10.2a and 10.3 together, the rules can be easily changed if all the parts are there, so please Bob and others, just please test this considering it Alpha software when you get it.

Thanks for the note. My problem has been that I have stuck to one Empty4 version (FXCM Build 438, latest) and am now trying to diversify

You enter a trade on all pairs regardless of where price is at? Or are you saying you set all your 'pending' trades at that time?

I just enter all the trades that have a decent space between the two lines about an hour after lines are drawn. Not scientific at all. Bob said it was a simple system so I am trying to keep the trading as simple as possible
