No need for the apology - you were trying to help.

I know from grim experience that the easiest way to make sure someone will demand a feature is to remove the code, so I then have to replace it. I leave quite a lot of redundant stuff lying around.

Hi sundog, have been watching your trades on fxbook and saw nothing had happened for some time. Glad you found the problem and restarted. ALos, ive never had that happen on my SS platform, but doubt that the freezing had anything to do with the EA.

Hi George, I noticed the programme freezing up when I started it, but was running out of time when I had to leave it as I mentioned.

I updated the EA it just fired off a trade, and its closed now.

However.... I was so impressed with last weeks effort that I put the ea on my small live account and am running the 2 in parallel. The live account fired the trade x 2 and even though the demo has closed the live a/c has not gotten remotely near the closure point, which I find interesting, not surprising but interesting.. Will report further.

of the 9 charts im running on, i have 4 open,2 are losing, and 2 have hit BE already. I have no doubt the losers will turn, but i find the ability to compare other's demos very valuable and helps a great deal to wards a optimum set file.

Just an update, while loading up some other demo's I realised that the reading's are in accurate as in while the demo is a 150 dollar account, it is a standard account so likely we'll have to move the decimal point one place left. So while the results a positive its less than stellar as the numbers show.

I will reset the account over the weekend and start again. I will persist with the 150 bucks as I personally cant afford more, and I want a reasonably accurate picture.

On my demo, Slopey continues to doddle along. A starting balance of $500 and trading 0.05 lots on Cowboy IBFX Aussie sees the balance up to $564. I use mptm to close the entire position as a basket when overall profit reaches 1%. In the early days, I would consistently see positions go miles into profit, only to see the profit disappear as the slope angle started to retreat. By the time SS picked up the change, the profit had all disappeared.

Current basket open from last week at -$29. Will this one recover as all others have, I wonder? We shall see.

I remain cautiously optimistic about this one.

SlopeySlope_revised is up and running. I dont think my change of account affected that much.

One thing of note is that as I turn on the platforms one by one, the Demo SS sits quietly, however the live SS fires off trades, which at the moment are in no mans land. This may be because I had a pc problem and by the time I got it fixed it was inside the open hours, but then both platforms have the same settings.
