10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

Interesting that today's dashboard is mostly ....


My goal is to only hit 2-3 trades a day with this 10.3 Ct strategy because I trade large lot sizes on my 400:1 account. I always expect to make 1% equity profit growth per pip.

It's VERY boring setting so many trades up. And so far no trades have been hit because maybe I am being too conservative as to where I have set these outer level pending orders, OR the market just happens to be very flat at the moment.

I wish there was a script or something that could make this process less time consuming, and also more accurate because sometimes I mis-read the price level I am to set the entry price. Ho hum.

Phil - another way to do it would be to use the Chin indicator to set up lines where you want the trades to be and have it email/alert you when the price reaches your target....

There are many categories of CT strategy;

A) trade from the outer with DPS/R Level 3 limit orders at the tired end of the day back to the middle; opening pending Limit orders which will be safest if set at DPS/R Level 3Phil

I've noticed in the past two hours some of the starting retraces have occurred not only at or near DS/R
but in confluence with the 100 or 200 SMA's and sometimes beyond a DS/R directly to a 100 or 200 SMA for start of retracement

Why would anyone code this EA until we, the collective group prove up our manual trading evidence that it is warranted? Such a man would would only code this EA after the sweat of others have already proved it up manually.

Dash boards maybe nice and I have absolutely nothing against them but studying charts everyday is how you learn this business. There are no shortcuts to the learning process.

There have been lots of suggestions but I stick with the basics. Read page 1 post 1 and it will give you the latest updates that I have been using. Baluda's indi needs some adjustments yet because I have been getting a couple of false reads on it so something in the code is amiss. Probably not from Baluda's changes but mine. I wont have time to get into it until next week. I posted one pic on how the indi gave one signal and mine gave another. So I would confirm the indi with a study of the chart before entering. It is still simple, go in the direction of the open form the daily pivot. Will still get more winners than losers.
