How are things coming along?? Are you far from your goal??

I have a friend who just lost his mother, and no person should ever go through that. So if there is an opportunity to help, i feel it is my duty as a human to help. Money means nothing when it comes to saving a persons life. I am hoping your mother gets her operation and you to can sit in a cafe and talk for many more years.

You thank us, I thank you for giving me the chance to show that there are still good people in this world. I am extremely proud of this forum, not only are there great minds here, but also some of the biggest heart i have seen.

When I was with the phone with WU rep, he basically told me the only way to send the money is to walking into a WU location and send the money in cash. But I don't know if that is really true. I know that it cannot be done by phone.

If someone else is successful, then that is wonderful. Just let me know which paypal account to send some money when it is set up. You can put me down for $100 as I still have a job and have low maintenance costs. Good luck.

Alpenkorps have now enough money for the operation but his mother will be needing care afterwards, so there is no need to not send money, every little donation helps.

I sent a fairly large amount, it was part of my christmas bonus. I spent it on myself, giving myself the gift of giving. This is in my mind the best thing anyone can do, instead of giving material goods to someone who actually dont need it, give it to someone who needs it, the homeless, charitys, cancer research, i friend in need.
