No, the EA is still in its infancy stage. The D1 timeframe makes for slow testing. fxozgirl is publishing results to myfxbook.com going forward, and sandybeach is posting results directly to this thread. I'm merely confirming that some entries, stops, etc. are being sent by the EA at the proper levels on a dozen or so charts.

Rjo, I had a really busy week last week so couldn't keep up with the versions. I started a fresh demo with v1i yesterday, but no trades yet.
I will update now to v1j and set up myfxbook.

Both of the trades last week closed as a loss. No new trades this week yet, I am still on 1f, so will update to 1k today.

I was working on an EA for this strategy as well and came across this post. How is the strategy fairing out? Is it still rubbish like someone predicted in the beginning posts?

Stearno I am still testing the original EA The7 - results here - if you read my earlier post you will see my original demo crashed at a gain of 2.25% I think it was. So I started the 2nd demo at 3070 dollars. I have used some discretion on some closures, and there have not been many trades of late, but so far so good. With The8, since changing to 1k, getting error 130 for invalid stops ? Just using default settings, it tried to open trades on the GBPAUD and GBPCAD, any ideas RJo.

Also on The7 opened 3 trades, GBPCAD, USDCHF, and GBPNZD.

Fixed error in UsePrevHighLowSL... v1m, Post 7, page 2. This was the culprit.

Thanks Sandybeach and RJo. I reckon that you must have been a fly on my wall as I also am having the same error problems.

I have just downloaded v1m so will now run with that and check.

Hi Rjo, I set up v1j on Monday as mentioned above, but no trades for the week so far. I know you have made a few more adjustments, but I wouldn't think that would prevent trades.
Actually, I just checked the logs & it tried to take a sell on gbpusd today but error 130 as per AussieDoc & Marlene...I will update to v1m ready for tomorrow.

On the other hand, I have made baby step progress with coding my own EA for this strategy (purely entries only so far) and it has taken trades on 5/12 gbpcad, gbpjpy, gbpnzd and today 6/12 on eurusd & usdsgd

Rjo, I just set up v1m and it immediately took 3 trades, eurcad, eurusd, gbpusd!
Should the EA be restricted to only trade at the open of the Daily candle, rather than taking the trade late?

Also, my EA tried to open both the eurcad & gbpusd but failed with trade context is busy...so I have to figure out how to fix that
But anyway, good to see both EA's are opening/attempting to open the same trades.
