no please dont stop your tests. Its just very important that you have a good idea whats happening with the settings so we can compare. this will only be possible in a few weeks, and now with the slow liquidity coming up, i suspect maybe only by january some time.

Remember i was very reluctant to jump in so soon after the tests started. I had'nt even shown them on the demo list so far, but it seems people are very keen on these, so therfore put all four platforms up as i had started them.

If mine doesnt work out, ill try something else and vice-versa.

Yes, you would need two seperate platforms to be able to compare more accurately. You could run them together with care in the parameters, but that would be terribly confusing if one wanted to compare with charts.

Oh, Okay, i see, the results are'nt looking so great.
Maybe try to comapre the EA's, mine is hardcoded or you could load mine up and save a set file to show in note or word, or whatever to compare.
See if you can figure out what settings are different and what could be causing the bigger losses. I changed the params quite a bit figuring that most would run OOTB.

I am running the Extreme Version on 3 different Criminals, we will see what happens in a few weeks from now, let's give the EA about 3 weeks and compare Notes.

This curve says nothing. Mine is also up, but there are open trades deep in DD and my equity is below the opening balance.

13 open trades on 6 pairs. UPL has so far stayed within 1% of balance. The way this EA works, there will always be drawdown. The question for me is, does it remain manageable without intervention?

BTW, I'm using fixed 0.02 basis lots.

Very interesting comparison. There is a big difference between the net profits.
Are you running both of them with the same lot size?

thank you for pointing that out! ... I have just checked and I suggest, I was confused a little bit by the settings. Installed too many different EA at that day. (wonder how cuzgeorge handle that! )

in 2.1.8a I have:

RiskPercent=10.0
RiskPerTrade=30.0
MaxAllowedOrders=15
Aggressive=0
UsePivots=1
Lots=0.1
Slippage=3
MarginPercent=20.0
StopLoss=0
TrailStart=30
TrailingAmount=10
TakeProfit=20

and for 2.1.5:

RiskPercent=5.0
RiskPerTrade=10.0
MaxAllowedOrders=15
Aggressive=0
UsePivots=1
Lots=0.1
Slippage=3
MarginPercent=20.0
StopLoss=0
TrailStart=30
TrailingAmount=10

So now I see, that some settings are just pointless and conflicting!
