Well I'll be darned...After week or so the latest version has been freezing up my platform. 1st with 15 pairs, and then also with only 8 pairs. Have temporarily stopped testing until this is sorted out. To this point, Zeljko looks to be working OK, but this is over just a few trades. Needs further observations to be sure. Last trade closure did not register in # pairs trading display... Previous trades were registered correctly. Maybe related to freezing issue??????? Anyone else?

no freezing on my side, but no trades yet at all. ALso, no errors or anything strange in the experts tabs either.

Thanks, cuz, On Cowboy IBFX H4 TF things were looking very promising. Had a half dozen trades with Jose Luis/Snoopier version. Making pips! I suspect that Ribelo's code is very well done and quite trustworthy. Over the few trades observed, this version was trading perfectly, Zeljko filter functioning just as it should... Great to watch it operate as it keeps risk from becoming concentrated in a single currency... Very prudent. Very elegant... Still, the DD monster has not gone away. Always lurking around... Noobs beware......

Pippo, i'm going to re-install my platform over the week end and hope to get some trades on 4H, thanks for bringing this up, i would never have thought to ask.

Because the markets , and most my EA collection have had a hard time lately, i thought this EA might be 'seeing' something and staying out. Will investigate further and see what we find.

hmmm ... H4 ? Will this simple switch really solve the "nearly no trades" prob ? But, ok ... you guys are the much more experienced members here ... will do so like you recomend it ! Had no freezing and had (nearly) no trades - do you all use - OOTB - the last JLCGarcia version posted 11 dec ? Or did someone already made some changes ? I put it OOTB on my charts ... hmm, all pairs.

I am not suggesting that more trades will be taken on H4 TF. I trade H4 because it looks to me in back testing (CT only) that the wider range traded on H4 reduces the frequency of very large, highly problematic draw downs. I suggest that everyone do their own testing... I believe Ribelo wrote somewhere that Simple Beast's calculations are based on H1 TF, and that SB should be used on H1. I think he may have been referring principally to White Box Trading, but not sure. I don't understand the code. I trade CT only. As usual, all remains a work in progress......

Very slowly bot, but looks good.

Trade this bot on 6 pairs: EURUSD,GBPUSD,USDJPY,USDCHF,EURGBP,GBPCHF.

I try to understand the trades, but that seems to be not easy ...

When will the UJ long tade be closed, still 175 pips in profit. :

I just want to share my experience of the Beast that I trade live...It is the only strategy I trade live and risk my hard earned cash on.. as it is tried and tested over the years.

I have been trading the original Beast for 6 months now averaging 3-4% per month (December- 7.14% so far). My monthly goal for my compounding is a 4% increase.

As has been discussed at great length by Steve H, Nanninbob & Macman on FF when the Beast was originally developed from the Sixth screen indicator, lot sizing and choices of pairs are critical for success. I now know this myself by experience. I had a loss of in October only by trading the CHF/JPY (god knows why I traded this pair..greed i think), my drawdown went to 20% and my balls failed..I closed a few trades taking the loss.

I have attached the Excel sheet i use for lot sizing and compounding in order to keep the risk constant as my account grows. I started with 0.01 lot size now trading 0.07 till i hit the next target.

The pairs I trade are: AUDNZD, AUDUSD, EURAUD, EURGBP, EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPCHF, GBPUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD, USDJPY. Limited to a maximum of 4 pairs at once.

Hopefully someone will find this of use.
