I use IC Markets for live trading. They are by far the best I have used, they are absolutely as advertised - true ECN. You can place orders inside the spread. Spreads are by far the best, zero or 0.1 pips on EURUSD is common. There are no disconnection, price freezing around news, tick filtering, or closing for 5 minutes at the start of the day issues, that I have experienced with other so called ECN Empty4 brokers. I also have a CNS VPS, so am colocated with their servers in the NY data centre, which probably helps.
I would highly recommend the CNS / IC Markets combo, particularly for EA's and scalping.
You can also get the commission reduced to $5.50 per lot instead of the usual $7.00. Just ask them to move your account to the HFT introducing broker group after your account is set up. Unlike a normal rebate, it is actually a reduced commission at the time of trade - not a rebate.
