just an update on my demo, on h1 it has done pretty well with the profit lock which is real conservative but reaped 500pips since dec 18th...max gain banked was 660pips but took some losses today so went down a bit. i suspect without profit lock, n no tp set...might have even hit 5000pips...crazy man.

is it possible to let the successful trades run till the ema21 crosses back against the ema55? i noticed many good trades could have run for 200-600pips! and there were indeed many such trades n i was surprised at the reliabilty of the cross on h1. so in this case since the stoploss is fixed at the previous swing hi/lo, we simply take the loss when price reverses strongly but let the winners run till the 2 emas re-cross.

is this viable? or will this lead to a margin call during flat markets?

thanks for your continuing efforts on this. any progress on the Hanover module which you mentioned you have been testing?

on the H1 swing, when i put adaptive stoploss to 35pips n tp 50pips..i hit some stops yesterday cos the 35pips was hit n basket closed but it was a real pity cos those were good trades actually..all went up by 70-100pips each after they got closed out..so now i'm trying adaptive tp 50 adapt sl 0 and just letting the ea place the sl at the previous swing hi/lo.

I'll upload it later today GMT, you can turn all management off and try Steve's MPBM, it's all about trial and error, trying to find the best settings, I have the option to use the slope and Hanover module in version 1.02, you will need to install the Recent Strength indi and set only H1 strength, that way it seems to work well and not sluggish.

great news! have u seen any benefits when testing the ea with hanover module versus the one without?

so far, on h1, the swing signals are pretty accurate , if it is improved with the additional filters , its gonna be superb.
