Just got stopped out on GBP/CAD, another 8 pip loss. It seems that the stoploss is too tight.

Too early to trade, JPY session is basically done and Euro hasnt opened yet. price is just going to bounce back and forth and not go any where. I will be trying that trade in about an hour.

Attached is a summary of my trades today. I'm doing much better than yesterday, only about 8 pip LOSS.

Took 6 trades, 4 winners and 2 losers. I got stopped out early on all of these trades, they all had a good run after retraced and stopped me out. I must think about the appropriate time of the day to enter a specific pair as Bob mentioned above.

However, I find it hard to trade the Asian session because after US session closes and Asian market open, Cowboy IBFX still has not finish its trading day (because of its time zone). I have to wait for another 2 hrs for Cowboy IBFX to finish a trading day and give me new signals. By then it's close to lunch time.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Seems market getting back to normal, or else I.m getting the hang of this. Took out the jump ea cos it's stopping me from earrning the profits, saw close to 2k pips down the drain cos the jump ea cannot handle the normal retrace. Went back to mptm with be at 10pips(follow jump ea) and js at 15pips interval. Let's see how it goes.

As for the stop loss, seems the best place to put it would be above the dp if sell or below the dp if buy. Else enter when it's around there for best effect

I use also your emerging pivots indi. It seems it won't function in combination with your new DWMP indi. I see that there are using the same labels. I changed the 'ext' string to 'extem' and now it works.

I think Paul's update will help with the time of day start adjustment. We will play with it and see how it goes. I dont get to trade JPY session with daylight savings time. I have to be a school teaching two hours before so right now not much I can do. Let me know if you get Paul's thing set for USA close.. If it does we could make separate screens for each time setting.

The market this week is doing a lot of jumping around. I was 8 wins and 9 losses today but I had kept my losses to a average -12 pips. Then boom GBP/USD and gbp/nzd dropped like rocks and I was in profit. I know it is frustrating to see those constant stop outs but keeping those losses small makes a big difference when all of a sudden you get one. I am using the jump ea that moves pips +1 for every 5 so once a move gets started I get it. I seemed to have done better with the +6 move but very choppy week so I dont know if it is a fair comparison. Some days you sure are glad you have it tight and some days you arent depending on how the market moves.

I used the 10.3 5.1 MA BUY ANY TF SHFM 11.12 EA.

But got errors

Does this mean my criminal XEMarkets are blocking it?

The equivalent 10 MA also produced the same errors.

DLL imports allowed?

Yes it was, everything except external strategy.

Just after the release of my 10.3 indicators it dawned on me that the 10.3 EA's use standard DP and DO. This is why I took the liberty to create an EA that:

• Uses the same shifted day change as the new 10.3 indicators.
• Opens a BUY when DO is over DP and price crosses DP or DO upwards.
• Opens a SELL when DO is under DP and price crosses DP or DO downwards.

The EA will check on the direction of the possible trade when it is dropped on the chart. Check the comment line in the top left corner after initialization of the EA.

This one is largely based on Steve's EAs that Bob has included in 10.3.
