Getting Minutes Since/Until News Correctly

Hello everyone,

I am having a problem with getting the correct minutes since news or until news.

Whether I change the offset in FFCal, FFCal Headlines, or Sonic FFCal Headlines, I get incorrect information given to me.

For FFCal, I use buffer 1 and shift 0 and shift 1, per instructions.

The other later indicators don't have instructions, so I use the only buffer 0, and shifts 0 and 1.

Attached are the pics. FFCal doesn't display at lower right. Sonic FFCal Headlines has white background lower right, and FFCal Headlines has black background lower right.

Can anyone help me get this information correct? FFCal Headlines gives correct information printed on one chart it looks like, but buffer gives weird numbers I frankly don't understand, so getting minutes since or until for all pairs is not working. BTW, the las two columns with no header are the numbers I am getting. For instance, on NZDJPY, it was only minutes since a news release, but the numbers don't show it.

In the code Magft used in Fratelli and other EAs, he made the following iCustom calls that worked.

             iCustom(NULL, 0, "FFCalH", "",true, true, false, true, true, 1, 0);
 
      minutesUntilNextEvent =
             iCustom(NULL, 0, "FFCalH", "",true, true, false, true, true, 1, 1);

As you can see it uses the second buffer (mode 1) not the first (mode 0).

Thank you very much!

After working with it, I see that the display is wrong when using FFCalH (corner changed to 4 on EURAUD chart), but looks like the right information is received from it from buffer (pic of EURUSD with numbers for last two columns).

I made my own mod from Sonic version, adding 4 buffers for each of the four lines displaying correct info on chart. Then after obtaining really just buffers 1 and 2 for first two printed lines on chart (which are correct in Sonic version it looks like), if "minutes since" buffer reads more than 0 (meaning it's for an upcoming event), I make "minutes until" buffer to be "minutes since" buffer value, and "minutes since" buffer value to be an empty value. Then display "N/A" for any value that is not less than 99999 (99999 is no news value, and empty value 2147483647 is more than this, so since it's over 99999, it would also default to "N/A"). Note: the small difference in times is because I fixed a color problem and uploaded pic again of mine, which should only color those since or until minutes that are within user input minutes (60 I made default).

I am using Forex Factory calendar to check what I get.
