Here is the 4H chart. One trade, 3 days waiting.

One thing you can do is if you like the trade long term you can go to a higher chart and change the SL and TP lines of the 10MA OR if price is slowing you can go to a lower chart and get out when it is done.

Last pic says 4H but is 15M 7 or more trades. 2 nice winners 25-40 pips. 5 losers 5-10 pips losers. How would you have done it on this day? 2ND pic shows the down daily candle. 1st pic, hourly 1 trade.

Any way have fun. An alternative to the DO DP trades.

What these EAs do.
1. MA line is your TP or SL.
2. Trades at the crosses.
3. Wont reenter once entered until same setup happens again.
4. Allows you to TP anytime but be careful on higher TF if you are in the same candle as the trade triggered.
5. Alternative to the jump EAs.

I spreadbet the EUR/USD 15M using Neotraders MTF's and have been comparing it with 10.3 Basic TEST B but I note that on the 10th Jan the White DO was just below the Green DP which if I understand correctly indicates a probable Sell situation and yet from the low of the day price rose over 200 pips. Neotrader MTF's gave excellent signals and I must say that I was happy with the 37 pips that I made.
My question is, am I using the correct version of the Scalper/Range trade system or are you not concerned with missing such a great trade.

Really, you think you are going to get every trade that comes up on a board?? I made 46 pips on a gbp/chf trade on that day if that means anything. Did you get that one using the MTF??

No, my 37 pips was made using the signals from Neotraders MTF's, could have made more but there were other things that needed my attention

Page 1 Post 1 is the official version. Not sold on changing the pivot time but if it works better for traders using other time zones and brokers they should go for it. I just think I should not throw out my daily candles. They give me good reads at times. Changing my daily open and change my daily candles doesnt work for me very well, but for other traders this would align the pivots with their daily candles. So each trader has to find what works best. I can understand a person wanting their daily open to match their daily candles. That makes a lot of sense to me.

Can I ask how you played Friday for the EU? I see potentially 3 entries that depend on the SL that was being used.

Entry 1 was the 7am GMT candle and would have stopped out within an hour if the SL was less than 15. Entry 2 would have stopped out within a couple of hours if the stop was less than 20. The 3rd entry took off.

I'm wondering who traded EU on Friday and how they got on and I'm guessing it was completely dependent on the stop loss being used?

Well for me I was stopped out within 5 mins roughly around 7.30am (GMT) my SL was the standard 18 pips.
