Overall I was 28 winners 29 losers but because my win to loss ratio is bigger I eeked out a profit. It was a very jumpy week with price jumping up and down all week until prices started breaking out. You have weeks like that. First week of 10.3 in which I had more losers than winners but kept my profits by my winners being bigger than my losers. This week should be exciting.

Or people could simply follow your advice and merely buy any xxxJPY pairs going? I have open aj, uj, gj buy trades well into the black - not because of your post about JPY devaluation, but your post has sure helped me keep them open and carry on stacking up the pips.

:D
Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. pianodoodler@hotmail.com is the account.

Those JPY pairs allowed me to have more than double my lot size of wins over my lot size of my losers. So a nice return.

Good morning Bob, I was trading a very old 2008 system of yours, & had AJ shorts, death trade at level 3, Martingale 2X. I threw towel on Friday. Shorted at 86+, closed at 94+, 700 pips lost  . I think I need to upgrade to 10.3 badly. But I still want to give your 100x80 & 60X90 a try on demo because I don’t see any evidence 10 point somethings could match the returns of 100X80. But nevertheless I am very eager to be proven wrong. Sad week. :(

Like I said earlier range trading is very tough to do with the long trends and interference by govt. at this time. If you wanted to range trade the best pair would be the gbp/cad. For years now it has stayed in a 1000 pip range. The yellow is the total range of the pair. Do sells only in the red areas and buys only in the green areas. You could range trade that and not worry too much. See chart below of the monthly.
Hi Nanningbob,

Really, you think you are going to get every trade that comes up on a board?? I made 46 pips on a gbp/chf trade on that day if that means anything. Did you get that one using the MTF??
Hi Nanningbob,

My apologies I failed to read your post correctly and therefore gave a meaningless answer. I should wear my glasses.

The correct answer to the question should have been No I did not trade the 15M GBP/CHF as it was not loaded. However I have since taken care of that and checked the 10th Jan for trades. I note that 10.3 was indicating Sell.

Neotraders MTF's also indicated several Sell trades, the first at 06.00 GMT which would have made about 25 pips. A much more positive signal was given at 09.00 GMT which would also have made about 25 pips after a reversal against the signal for 2 bars. But the best trade of the day came at 13.15 GMT when from the opening of the following bar it dropped over 50 pips before going sideways.
I can see where you made your 46 pips, very nice how all these small trades keep adding up.

I also note that today 14th Jan the DO was below the DP, but there have been two trades using Neotraders MTF's, one Buy at 06.00GMT which could have made 50 +pips. The second a Sell at 11.15 GMT which so far dropped 25 pips, but more still a possibility.

Yes you can use other indicators and get other trade signals or confirmation signals. What would really help is to post pics of the trades so we could see better what you are talking about. The system is designed to be used with other indicators people like to use. Yesterday I was 12 wins 7 losses but at one time I was 4-8. Then my next 8 trades were very nice winners and I increase my account by almost 2%. The difference was my losers were kept small by the jump EA and my winners were bigger than my losers.

The 8 in a row I was using the 1x10 EAs and they ran better than the trades I took off of the daily open. Here is the nzd/jpy I placed around noon EST and went to bed. I let the red line be my SL. I closed it when I got up about 6:45 PM EST. I felt comfortable seeing if it would make a second move today and it did. The reason I added the 10MA was for trades like this that went up during the JPY session and may move up again late USA or NZD session. It was a nice trade for 30 pips

Bob,
I too used the 1X10 EA, at first the trades where closing with little to no profit so I attached them on a 1 Hr. time frame and started to see results. I kept the Magic number and used the MPTM 10.3-18+100 to give me a hard SL and TP incase I lost power it will be fixed on my VPS. Internet and electricity are not something a guy can rely on here in Peru SA. Any way I am very encouraged and would like to thank you for this gift. I am having a great time with your toys.
Thanks, Chris.

If you use the SH 1 time entrance EA with the MPTM that would work. There is a small but possible chance of a big move spike up/down and then a reverse which would cause the 1MA to not register until the trade is 30, 40 or more pips before it crosses back below/above the red line. If you use the continuous EA then it would reenter the trade because the 1MA could still be above the red line even though price was below. I will modify the EA to not enter above the red line if price is below. So I wont get to that until later.
