do you use an indicator to identify Supply and Demand Levels?

Hi there,
I have read Sam's stuff sometimes ago now and I always found it difficult to qualify how "fresh" a level is. It seems to all depend on how far you go back on your chart. If it is not an issue for you, would appreaciate if you could share your wisdom on this.
Thx

sorry I am just now seeing your reply on this. Must've missed the forum reminder due to holidays...
Anyway, just wanted to say... I'm no expert on this method, but my philosophy is that less thinking = better. Basically I take all trades that fit my set of rules, and being "fresh" is one of the core requirements.
When price extends in an extreme fashion, I find that this is often the beginning of a setup. The origin of the extreme move is frequently a good supply or demand level. When price comes back to that area, I am ready and waiting to execute the trade.
With that said... be careful of ranging/consolidating markets where price seems to be going nowhere. I prefer a trending market (even slow overall trend) with the extreme move. If the bigger picture chart shows that price is really not trending in either direction, then I probably wouldn't take that setup.
