Gday: a D1 Stochastic OB/OS trading robot

Just a quick update on the 3 trades I identified on Monday morning that I would trade
(these trades were taken manually at the open of the candle yesterday - not with Gday)

chfjpy buy 0.03 83.067
price reached 50 pips, 1st third of trade closed for +51.3 pips profit and stop has been moved to be +2
Free trade now, so let's see what happens

Steve, thanks for your hard work on this ea over the last 24hrs, it's definitely appreciated.

Just an update on the trade Gday took for me yesterday - usdchf buy

Price has gone up and the trade was moved to breakeven after reaching 50 pips, however the first third of the trade has not closed.

I got that on my trade as well. I had Breakeven enabled, and this function is called before the Jumping Stop. There is no part-close in Breakeven. Gday saw the opportunity to move the stop to +2 in Breakeven, so Jumping Stop saw no need to close part of the trade, because its decision on whether to lose or not depends on it seeing a need to move the stop in the first place.

Breakeven needs removing and Gday using JS for this instead. For now, disable BE. Unless you already had it disabled, in which case it is a bug.

I have placed the new bot on all my charts. ootb other than crim and comment
It is showing a complete blank after the "Trade Status:"
Whereas it showed up as waiting for a trade or neutral in previous version.

Can anyone provide some insight as to why the bot's not showing right on my charts. No trade status, no trading hours, etc. Didn't have this problem until the last version.

Trading hours are removed because they are irrelevant. Trading status likewise, and will be removed from the display when I remember.

Just to let you know the perf of the initial version
Since it started on an outstanding way, I decided to let it go for while instead of placing the newest versions.

Don't be surprised for the first day, it made 685 pips for only 9.67 EUR that's because I attached the EA on the SEK pairs (worth nothing), since then I removed it from those pairs ...
But still today : +575 pips and opened = +375 pips .... pretty amazing, let's see what it does with the time

Lot size = 3 000 EUR (=0.3 lots on MBT) for a 10 000 EUR deposit, so rather small positions.

Interesting this. The initial trades taken by the mis-construed bot on my demo were not being slaughtered. Thing is, there are bloops in the material code of the original that are fixed in later versions.

What I can do is add flexibility that allows flexibility as well as strict adherence to Shelley's rules. In fact, let's do it now, cos as I think about it I am certain it is simple to do. Hang on a sec. Back in a mo.....


Ok, there are two new inputs:
extern bool StrictDisciplinarianShelley;//Trades as Shelley does
extern bool ChillOutShelley;//Allows trading on any exit from ob/os

StrictDisciplinarianShelley does not actually do anything apart from prompt a feedback line reminding us whech method we are using. ChillOutShelley tells Gday to set OldBars to zero just before the OldBars testing conditional that allows trading only at the start of the day.

I upload it here so you can make sure it works as intended before I confuse matters by uploading it to post 1.
