Fellow Swing Traders,

Wondering if i can ask for suggestions. I appear to be missing something.

I am trying to filter my trades with Hanover after not a great day. Hanover is on a chart. It is filtering the numbers into the 'files folder' and the display appears to be correct.

I am unsure why this trade (GA) was not taken.

- Price below the EMA's
- Price below the last swing
- Strength in 'red' which i presume means price is moving away to the downside?
- To try and get this move in i have turned off the 'wait for new bar' function (as it was a few mins to the hour)

Any thoughts on what i am doing wrong?

Looking at your chart, the previous bars high must be above the swing high.

i set up a new demo using the ADR option true, trading on m5, but i see that the stoploss was not based on the adr but on the last swing hi/lo of m5, is there soemthing wrong?

I set up the demo again on v1.03 trading m15, using adr true, profit lock at 45pips true, all other options false.

ea took a trade but again the stoploss is set at previous swing hi/lo of m15, not at the adr and no tp is set even with adr option.

thanks for your quick response..appreciated!
i loaded up v1.03b but the onscreen display of the currency trend readings n stuff is no longer there, is that how its supposed to be? is it possible to have the onscreen display? cos now all u can see is the top right hand corner ea label n nuthin else... its difficult to know whether the ea is working or not..no error msgs as well.

any guys loaded up v1.03b yet?

I downloaded and installed v1.03b, everything appears to be there. However, I had originally tried loading the EA on a profile called default. Nothing loaded, nothing was displayed on that profile. I then loaded it on the profile that I originally set up for that EA. That worked, and I still have no idea why trying to load it on a different profile failed.

How responsive are the three colored buttons on my monitor suppose to be? You had modified the code to allow those buttons to be moved. I tried those buttons on v1.03b, and they behave sporatically, if at all. Is there something specific that has to be done to get the buttons to work?

Hello,

I only removed the code that would enter a stop when the trade is taken, so the ADR function can take care of the stop/profit.

I'll have a look later when I get home.

Buttons, make sure when dragging a button, only that button is highlighted.

i tried loading it in a profile and that worked. the display loaded n some trades were taken but the weird thing is no sl/tp value is placed in adr mode. i set adr stop to true. no error msg as well.

Fmuir, does your adr mode place sl/tp values?
