Sorry Steve, I'm a bit confused .. Do you mean that if I download this version and choose "ChillOutShelley" it will trade as the initial did, but without other small inconsistencies ??

Does anyone know, why eur/usd and usd/cad trade isn`t being taken?

Edit: The ea says Usd cad says stoch lines are above 80 and the stoch indicator says below!

Same for eur/usd

Yep. You might like to save your existing version first, just to make sure, but the answer to your q is, yes.

I did a few quick back tests to compare "Strict Shelley" vs. "Chill Out Shelley." While "Chill Out" did much better on EU, they still both made a profit. I switched to GJ, which didn't perform as well when I tested it before. Strict Shelley made a tiny profit but was up and down all year. Chill Out Shelley though was a loser.

You're probably referring to Steve's trade manager that she uses to manage a manual trade once she's in it.

Just to let you know the perf of the initial version
Since it started on an outstanding way, I decided to let it go for while instead of placing the newest versions.

Don't be surprised for the first day, it made 685 pips for only 9.67 EUR that's because I attached the EA on the SEK pairs (worth nothing), since then I removed it from those pairs ...
But still today : +575 pips and opened = +375 pips .... pretty amazing, let's see what it does with the time

Lot size = 3 000 EUR (=0.3 lots on MBT) for a 10 000 EUR deposit, so rather small positions.

Interesting this. The initial trades taken by the mis-construed bot on my demo were not being slaughtered. Thing is, there are bloops in the material code of the original that are fixed in later versions.

What I can do is add flexibility that allows flexibility as well as strict adherence to Shelley's rules. In fact, let's do it now, cos as I think about it I am certain it is simple to do. Hang on a sec. Back in a mo.....


Ok, there are two new inputs:
extern bool StrictDisciplinarianShelley;//Trades as Shelley does
extern bool ChillOutShelley;//Allows trading on any exit from ob/os

StrictDisciplinarianShelley does not actually do anything apart from prompt a feedback line reminding us whech method we are using. ChillOutShelley tells Gday to set OldBars to zero just before the OldBars testing conditional that allows trading only at the start of the day.

I upload it here so you can make sure it works as intended before I confuse matters by uploading it to post 1.

I have attached Gday (semi automatic mode) to the following pairs ready for the new day:

eurusd, usdcad, nzdusd, audusd, eurjpy, audjpy, gbpaud, cadjpy, nzdjpy

I will be interested to see what Gday does at the new candle as both the stoch lines for nzdusd, nzdjpy have already crossed out of ob/os.

Will Gday recognise that the stochs have been in ob/os already and have moved out or will it think the stoch set up is not yet correct for a trade?


I have also set up a 2nd demo, Gday fully automatic on all available charts
