10.3 SCALPER/RANGE TRADE SYSTEM

A statistically rare day today. EURUSD hit R3, then down to S3 and is now passing above R2 back on its way to R3 again. I bet some serious stops were tripped within the last few hours!

Attached is the rar file that contains the predefined profiles

Included the NB 10.3 indi and Baluda's latest DWMP as well inside the Indicators folder

Make sure you shut down Empty4 before running the following

Extract the files in indicators folder to \experts\indicators
Extract the files in profile folders to \profiles

There are 3 profiles, New York, London and Japan, you can easily switch it via File -> Profiles

All contains a label with the profile name so that you won't get mixed up

The latest version of DWMPivots supports the setting the pivots at any hour you want through the 'hoursFromGMT' setting. This setting puts midnight/day change for the calculation of the pivots at the hour of your own choice.

The only requirement is a PC with XP or better and automatic time settings.

• It does not matter in what time zone you are.
• It does not matter in what time zone your broker is.
• It does not matter in what time zone your PC is.
• DWMPivots knows what to do!

If you set hoursFromGMT to 0 your pivots will be at, drumroll please, GMT+0, midnight in London. If you set hoursFromGMT to 1 your pivots will be at GMT+1, midnight in Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Kinshasa. At 2 they will be at GMT+2, midnight in Kiev, Joburg. Etc, etc.

Here are some possible settings:

• +2 = Sydney Open, -7 = Sydney Close, +1 = one hour before Sydney Open.
• 0 = Tokyo Open, -9 = Tokyo Close, -1 = one hour before Tokyo Open.
• -7 = Frankfurt Open, +4 = Frankfurt Close, -6 = one hour before Frankfurt Open.
• -8 = London Open, +7 = London Close, -7 = one hour before London Open.
• +11 = New York Open, +2 = New York Close, +10 = one hour before New York Open.

Paul, not sure if you can accede to this request, but can you put a countdown timer as well? The GMT shift is nice, but silly me is totally confused on how many hours more to a new trading day for that GMT shift

I remember nanningbob mention something about using R/S as TP/SL points, for me i prefer a hard SL of 50, BE at 10 and JS at 15 thereafter, find that to be the best option so far to catch a big trend and close out on whiplash, it also means that i can set MPTM to handle this for me once i get the setup the trade and rule out human emotion (as if )


The reason i wimped out was because i got totally burned playing JPY today (would have got a nice profit if i held the trade, but that's always the case), so decided to play it safe, pips in my account is always better than floating pips

You might want to attach this trade session clock on a blank chart it has GMT time, your broker time, and what trading session you are in at the present time.

You might want to attach this trade session clock on a blank chart it has GMT time, your broker time, and what trading session you are in at the present time.
